go get a kid's swim floatie for your right arm and wear it just above the elbow. this should help you keep right elbow from collapsing. because of the collapse the arm is having to rebound just a bit and is leading to a little more chase down the line than I think you are looking for. other than that good work. looks solid

FYI, the OP above said he was buying a Swing Extender training aid...it does exactly what you advise here.  A good, cheap training aid (and as an added benefit, you don't look like a dork wearing it!)

Jay Z and Linkin Park!!!  I like it...nice swing too.

Do you have the iron swing without the music? I would love to hear what the contact sounds like.  It looks solid.

saw that but without knowing how much a swing extender costs gave him an alternative. as for looking like a dork...who cares when you are kicking someones butt?  pretty dang good action though

The swing extender is pretty good. It's a little awkward at first, but you get used to it. Practiced with it for a month straight and my right arm is at a much better angle at the top nowadays. It's a good training aid, good quality. One you can always go back to if you need a quick tune up. Well worth the $30 price tag imo.

Here's an update. Tried to work on some of the issues that were brought up earlier in this thread.

If you were a bit taller you could be seriously mistaken for Hunter.

Brown belt and black shoes...hard to get past that!

Seriously, nice action.

Let me get back to you on that in a few months :)

It's currently embarrassing. I've been changing stuff so much and spending A LOT of time in the woods. And my short game/putting is outrageously sloppy/neglected. But I think it's coming around again, yesterday I played and didn't hit anything sideways. To answer your question though, handicap went from about a 1 or 2 last spring to about 15 (estimate) since I've went full scientist mode with the golf swing. My biggest issue has been my ability to hit it 30 degrees off line in either direction. I can't golf like that (my course is heavily wooded with tons of OB). I'm clearly not a very good scientist. I think I'll get it down really fast if yesterday was an indication of anything though.

you aren't hitting a lot of 7 to 5s at all to practice your pitching/chipping?

Don't neglect the putting either sir!

I really like that position at the top.  Man, it looks like all you have to do is unwind.  I hope my swing looks half that good when I come back.  With that swing, if you are not playing great, it is all in the "scientists noggin" which I can attest too because I am a bit of a "scientist" too.
