Two Aces on same hole today!

Had to share this one.   Regular foursome of pretty good golfers.   3 aces between us over the past 7 years (when I started playing w/ them) and none in the last 3 years.    We hit four good shots today on a uphill 185 yd. par 3. We get up to the green and there were two eggs in the basket.   Dang!  What are the chance of that?

Nope.   I was looking at my shot in the range finder thinking that's a greeny.    I see a pitch mark apear and  then couldn't find the ball.   I thought it spun off the green.    good stuff!

I was thinking one worse:

Golfer 1 : Wow a hole in one - I guess I got a skin there
Golfer 2 : Wow I just got a hole in one too - and I STROKE - net 0! Skin for me!

We had a guy in our group get a net -1 once. He was a 22 and got two pops on a hole and aced it.

One of my friends in central Kansas did this playing against a guy in a men's night match play event.

Halved with 1's!!!

One worse - in charity event they had a Harley for the 'first' hole in one. The second guy just got to buy drinks. ouch

That is awesome. I've never had a hole in one and only seen one in person.  I cannot imagine having two on the same hole in one group.

This happened at my club several years ago.  Local news came out and interviewed them and there a few articles as well.  I hope you get your 15 minutes of fame.

1 ace for a professional golfer is 3,708 to 1 At that rate a pro can expect 1 ace every 10 years

4 aces on the same hole in the same day is 332,000 to 1 like what happened during the 1989 US Open 167yd 6th hole.

The chances of a hole in one is 37 times better than winning the New York State Lottery

Great story. Congrats to those guys. I'm not trying to beat you with this story, just share an experience. This guy I knew had 2 in one day. One in a nine hole morning round and one in an evening round.

The owner if the same course that happened on put one in the water on a par 3, re-teed and holed it!

Great stories. I've never had one in the 13 years I've played. Congrats again!
