Ever since I switched to Windows 8 I have had some issues with the GolfWrx site.  Sometimes when I try to post a PM reply my text does not show up at all until I close out of the message and try again.  My enter key does not start a new paragraph in the PM either.  So I guess that most of my issues are with sending PMs.Even in this message I just hit the enter key and did not move the cursor at all nor did it start a new paragraph.  I did put the browser into compatibility mode but have not seen a resolution.  Anyone else seen this behavior?

Six weeks and no one has posted anything at all.  I guess no one is using Windows 8?

I bought it a few days ago and will install it shortly. I can report back at that time.

In the meantime, have you tried a different browser ?

I've replied in many messages with GWRX about those same issues. I'll use the mobile skin until these things are fixed.

Yep. I've tried FF, Chrome and IE (Both App and IE Desktop). All Invision Power Board forums have the same issue. It's what the forum software provides for the text editor that has the problem. Not really GWRX's fault.

The only answer is to use the Mobile skin (and I prefer it actually.. lighter, faster, and no ads.)

You're not alone ... I've noticed the same behaviour in Windows 8.   Haven't found a solution yet.

I can answer the 'no new line' when pressing enter in the very least.

Turn off the style controls by clicking on the light switch in the upper left corner of the reply window.  Hard returns will now work to create new lines. This is a problem with the editor that is used by Invision Power Board, and not specifically GolfWRX.

It isn't Win8 that is the problem, it is GolfWRX editor and specifically with IE9 AND IE10. I use IE10 on Win7 (released yesterday and awesome!) and I can't use the editor box. Enter doesn't work as neither do bold, Italics.

In fact I submitted a bug report to microsoft about this because editor works fine in any other browser. They wrote back the site in question is most likely using non-compliant code (IE9+ has become more strict towards it while other browsers will still support it) or the editor is using browser specific tags that IE doesn't use (like webkit specifics).

It's the company that makes the editor that this and many other forums use. GWRX didn't make the forum software or this editor.

I've posted how it can be fixed in the forum software in another post. They just have to implement it.

It's javascript related.

Most of us were smart enough not to get windows 8.  lol
