Commemorating what Curtis Strange earned with them on tour from May 1983 to April 1989

All 1000 sets were hand ground by the legend Don White.  This set is the FULL 11 club set 1-SW each 100% original and never used for anything except display with True Temper Dynamic Gold S-400, and have original Golf Pride Pro Only grips.  Plastic still on all the faces.  These are great collector clubs.  The name Macgregor VIP has always been associated with major victories.  Whether is was Jack, Ben, Jose, Lee, Curtis, Azinger, Norman, Miller, Weiskopf.  They all used them.  Any questions feel free to ask, and thanks for looking.

Irons will come shipped in original MacGregor packaging with 0402/1000 still on cardboard box.  This is the COMPLETE package.

I've got a set of those.......real blades in the best sense of the words.  That's a great price for what they are, and GLWS--whoever buys them is going to be blown away.

Honestly don't know but suspect right in the USA would be my guess.

Look at those diamond face frames filled with gold paint - amazing really!

While it has no bearing on the value of these beautiful irons and display case, I find it interesting, some might say Strange, that after these were issued, Curtis, who was still competing, moved over to Maruman who issued an equally beautiful commemerative set of irons with his name on them. About that time........Curtis moved over to Titleist.

IIRC, they were forged at Hoffman in Chicago....Been a long day lol.  GLWS Gorgeous set! Hope to one day add a set like these to the collection.

Just did a little digging around in the boxes these came in and found the provenance from this set.  The original buyer is a PGA professional Lon Kinney
