Have never holed out from the fairway and after today, I still haven't.

First shot Was 168 out to a back left pin location and I line up to play a slight draw 7 iron. Hit it pure as pure can be with a perfect draw, bounces hits bottom of flag stick and settles 2 inches away.......

Second shot was about 120 yards out to a middle pin location. Line up for a knockdown 52* and hit it perfectly, sticks and starts coming on back and settles about 6'' behind the pin.

So even after my awesome 27 holes in which I put on an iron display I still have yet to hole out from the fairway...

Went 39-37-34 today. The 39 is with 2 double bogies. 1 bogie and 2 birdies the final 18.

I'll take it I guess.

I put on my best displays of iron play when no one is around to watch... Purely coincidental, as I actually enjoy people watching me play. Although i played very well against a local club pro in a twighlight nine and shot 34 to his 40
