I told golf_junkie I would post some photo's of the 929HS to show how shallow they really are. So here's a couple of photo's.
Attachment IMG_0331.JPGAttachment IMG_0332.JPG

How are you hitting that 929HS?

Unfortunately, we just had 6" more new snow yesterday to go along with the 12" that were already on the ground. 10 day forcast doesn't show many temps above freezing here in central Wisconsin, so it looks like it will be April before I get out on the course. Last year it was almost 80* on St Patrick's day, not this year. I will post an update on how I'm getting along with the 929HS when I can finally get out and hit some balls with it. I hate Wisconsin winters!!

I will snap a couple later today and post them. Since I posted my new WITB my wife won a Taylormade Smoke IN-12. I have been rolling it around the house and might give that a try early in the season.

Any update on the 929hs? I just purchased the 949 mc 4 wood but wondering if the 929 would be a better fit as I have more trouble off the deck. Also got the 949mc 7 wood so might opt for the 929 7 wood as well.

I have a pair of 949's. Very easy to hit off the deck, in my opinion. Launch a little flatter. You wouldn't think those two things would go together, but they do.

I am thinking of picking up a 949. The 929 may just be a little to shallow for my liking. A lot of spin and too high ball flight. Going to give it a couple more weeks before I do though. With this crappy spring, I have only been out with the clubs for about 5 rounds and very little time on the range.

On a side note, I did pull the two Wishon wedges out of the bag. They were replaced with Titleist SM4 56/11 and 52/8. The Wishon wedge heads were just a little to big for my liking.

Just a little update. The bag is still the same. I cracked my 919THI last week. Called Wishon and the said send it back and we will get a new one out to you. Great service, just wish it would not have happened right now. I have the Club Championship final match coming up this weekend and it most likely won't be back in time. I am playing my back up right now, a R9 460 with the LDA GD Throttle XS. Wish I had picked up a back up 919 when I said I was going to.

Just got off the phone with Chris at Wishon. New 919 coming today. I couldn't resist having them put a 949MC 14* into the package. Should be able to play that for a while before the snow starts falling. Putting a talamonti PD 80X in it. Will review it compared to the 929 after I get it. For Sh _ts and giggles I ordered the new Grafalloy White Blue 75x to put in the 919. I liked the original Blue, so hoping this will work out. I think I over cooked my Talamonti when I pulled it out of the cracked head. The white blue doesn't work out I will order the pd 70 version 2. I will post some updated photos at the end of the week when they get in. Almost ordered the 575 cavity backs in 8, 9 and PW. Will wait until after the season ends hear to do that. Going to keep the 575's for another year at least, but I like the forgiveness of the 575 cavity backs in the long irons.

Just saw your last post. Snow day here in Indy! Nice additions, how did they work out? The Talamonti is pretty stout. Should be great in a fairway club. Is it good off the tee? and fairway?

The 949 is definitely a deeper face club. Paired with the Talamonti PD 80x I am actually having a difficult time getting it up in the air from the fairway. I only had a few rounds with it before the snow fell so I will have to give it some more time on the course next spring. It really is a bomber off of the tee though. One benefit that I've discovered for my game is that it isn't as inclined to go left as much as the 929. I hate the left side of the course and I can consistently hit a nice little fade with the 949. I'll post some updated WITB photo's soon. Wife has the xmas tree up, so my background for the photo's is all set.

These are the only changes to the 2013 WITB.

The wedges are Titleist SM4's. 52* and a 56* both DG Wedge flex. They were actually in the bag all summer. The Wishon's wedges only made it a couple of rounds. I really like the SM4's, fit my eye better with the smaller blades.

The 949 MC 14* and the Amp Cell Pro were late season pick ups. They both showed promise. The 949MC has the Talamonti PD80X version 1 in it with a Tacki Mac IT2 grip. The ACP has a Grafalloy White Blue 75X shaft. I didn't care for that White Blue in the Wishon 919THI, to high of ball flight, but in the ACP it really seemed to shine. ACP must be lower spin/launch than the 919THI. The few times I used the 949MC it really showed potential for a bomber FW. Ball flight might be a little to low though. Will have to wait for spring now before I can decide if they will stay in the bag.

Haven't been on the sight much the last couple years. Didn't realize it, but I've had the same set of clubs since 2013. Only thing that is different is I've replaced the 52 and 56 vokey's with 52 and 56 EF Taylormade wedges. I will have the same set next year. The Smoke MB's are still my second set too. Added a 919thi black driver to that set and got rid of the Cobra. I have found the cure for my golf ho'ing ways.
