whats up everyone? I'm in the need for some new shoes as my Tour 360's have blown out after A LOT of time on the course. I LOVE my 360's but I want something that is a bit more dress shoe style as I play almost exclusively in slacks but I also walk a lot. I'm aware that matching the 360's in comfort and quality is going to put me in the $150+ price range so I'm not real interested in buying a pair of shoes in that range to find out that they're not made for much walking weather due to comfort or splitting of the uppers at the flex points.

Right now I'm really considering the FJ icon but am open to recommendations but only if they have that classic dress look to them so nothing like the TW13 or the ecco spikeless or any other trainer styled shoe.

Thanks

ECCO biom, FJ XPS-1, Adipures. If it were me, I would look at the bioms and the adipures. Not really a fan of xps-1's but they are a more rigid shoe like the Icons. If you want something rigid the icon and xps1 are going to be best, but comfort and style I would go with the bioms
1.Bioms
2.Icons
3. XPS-1
4.Adipures.

I'm really a fan of the 2013 adipures as they have a classy dress look and have dropped the stripes from the side!!!

You may be the only one. I personally think they are ugly.

If you want a dressy golf shoe that is comfortable you need to buy the allen edmonds.

Give the Adidas Adipure Motions a try. Comfort guarantee and I think they may be the most dressy and walkable and comfortable shoe for the money. I tried a lot of shoes including high end ecco's and got blisters. I play in the nike tw13 but I play in the more modern looking golf pants. But the TW13 shoes straight up I walk 18 holes and on mountain courses and feel like I had my feet propped up for 6 hours when I am done!

I've got both the Adipure and Icons and I've worn the Ecco's too.  It would be a photo-finish between the Icons and the Adipure with the Icons coming just in front.  I didn't think the Adipure could be beat, but the Icons are everything you could want in a shoe.  I'll walk in them all day and still feel like I could do more.

I am looking at these for my next pair.  I need some extra support for overpronation and these seem to be decent at that.   What are your thoughts on comfort for someone that always walks?  The other pair I was looking at are the Asics Pro Gel Tour.

I would have to agree with a lot of people who said the new Adidas adipure motions! I think they would look slick on a guy and classy!

Footjoy Icon is the only way to go.  After doing alot of walking in mine I switched out the stinger cleats it comes with and put in regular softspikes cleats.  That made them way more comfortable and easy to walk in all day.

Thanks everyone...Though I like the look of the Adidas I feel i'm going to end up with the classic look of the FJ Icon. I just have to decide on the color combo I want to go with
