looks like the number 1 player in the world will be coming to the SHO next year!!!! with iths being 2 weeks before the Masters, im thinking TIGER will be coming back to Houston!!!!! We Will See!!!! PEACOCK PRO SHOP!

My wife works for Shell in Houston, so I am fortunate that I will be in attendance this year as well. I know a lot of people were bent after hearing of the tournament being a week sooner than usual, but I told them that since not all players like to play the week before the Masters, that they will play it now, as I don't know too many players would want to skip 2 weeks heading into the Masters..If a Tiger fan, good chance he will be here this year, as he never plays the week before. I am looking forward to it this coming year.. I will be there Thursday, Friday and Sunday...but it will come at the expense of me having to do what the Mrs. tells me to leading up to it...

I really doubt Tiger will be there, but Rory could play the event. But no Tiger.

My wife told me today since she works at Shell, that Rory has commited to the SHO... so, good chance this will be the best field in a while. As Bart Scott once said "Can't Wait!"

Well I am fortunate to have acces to the Shell hospitality tent, SHO Club 16 and the Lakeside Skyboxes, but I will pass on the Skyboxes again, Seems to me that most there are a little to "stuffy" for my liking. For me, I like to enjoy the event and the SHO Club on 16 is a great way, even though later in the afternoon, the more intoxicated fans get vocal..but it is a great hole to watch and interact..So if you can score SHO club take them..sure you have to pay to eat/drink, but it is a great hole to watch..

We usually get free general admission tickets to the SHO from various vendors... I missed last year, but I'm definitely going this year!

A vendor took a few guys from work to play Redstone the week following last years tournament. Hopefully I get in on that this year!

The club tents are great.  I was fortunate enough to get in one year.  All you can eat and drink.  It was a great time.
A couple of years ago i was able to get Rory's autograph on my Titleist hat.  Memorable times at SHO.

Working for or know someone who works for one of the company that sponsors the tent.

Other than free drinks and food, you'd miss whole lot of action on the course.
I get badges for the Shell's tent right behind 18's green almost every year, I'd always go in early, grab something to eat and drink from the tent first, then follow the group I want to follow on that day. I'd start heading back to the tent after 16th, since it's a long way from 17th to 18th.

We played pretty well with a 59 in a shamble format.  We were paired with Patrick Reed.  The best part about the Pro-Am was receiving a $700 voucher for pretty much anything you wanted in the merchandise/equipment tent.

It would have been fun to play it as a best ball type event but still impressive to be on the course the week of the tournament and inside the ropes.  Course is in great shape with little rough and firm/quick greens.

thats cool.... i followed patrick today and will be following him tomorrow... i went to high school with is caddy/wife justine.. got to meet him.. really nice guy.. they live in spring also.. if you come out tomorrow he tees off at 2:00pm off number 1. ill be wearing a black/white nike hat with a duck pin on it....
