Couple of rough pics from Low Tide... This is the putter I ordered from them so far

Going to do a Gun Blue finish, Low Tide calls it a Low Country Boil, using orange translucent paint fill on bottom and backplate!

What's the price point in these? Curious about them.

Going to wait for the Salty? I have a picture of a Low Country Boil head that looks almost Copper colored. I'll see if I can find it.

Would love to see the pic of the copper colored finish, the images on the site don't appear copper colored but that would be a huge bonus!

Would love that finish if they do recreate that, I really like the Rainbow Trout finish on the website and if this thing rolls the ole pill really good I plan to order another one with that finish

Some additional pics... Finish applied... Gonna have to go with a light, opaque Orange paint fill... Translucent was being a stinker against the gun blue finish... These guys seem to be doin a great job!

I ordered mine...doing a raw/torched finish...but for the price...i might just pick one up in the rainbow trout finish...can't wait to get mine.

Yes! See... Diggin' the look of these things. Zack e-mailed me this evening and said he's gripping and paint filling and it should ship out next week. So excited about getting this thing. Like a 4 year old man, swear it is. On top of everything, this is my first real nice putter. Had 2 the whole time I've played golf...a cheapo Taylormade Rossa...and the Heavy I play now... Got goose bumps man..

I'm not getting a lot of info from their site and would like to know more about what makes this putter special from the rest. The looks are amazing.

I have talked to them but at this time they couldn't give me the toe hang I need (6). I can putt with face balanced putters and really thinking of getting one because I know they can produce that. Just need to know what is it about these I'm drawn to and what sets them apart from others besides the looks.

No salty grip... Like jumbos... Shipped em orange jumbo Iomic... As far as what sets them apart... Real wide body blade

What happened to the Slighter putter you were going to have made?  Got written off?

Had a chance at a job, oddly enough right up by where Slighter's shop is. Needed to keep funds in case of move, haven't given up on that one, price point on these let me throw just a little caution to the wind. Got 3 diff chances for promo's inside company right now and I just can't throw that much at a putter, soon as I get a promo or get declined that dream will come back to life for me! Just gotta be a touch cautionary.

I talked with Josh today about the finish of my putter...was a good talk and he is going to try it on the 1018 and the 4140 to see which ones comes out better. 4140 isnt as soft as the 1018 though...we shall see

and...instead of bead blasting it and polishing out mill marks...all those are going to be left on it. Its going to be smooth...but chatter...yeah buddy

I had a phone call with Josh last night about the finish. He said he thought that the 1018 might not be the best for torching it. Said he would try it and also try it on 4140 which is harder. Well he texted me a picture of it this afternoon and I will say that he did not even have to try the 4140. Oh and he let me in on the special gift for the first 20 people who ordered...pic of the putter up later.

So here are the pictures I promised. During my talk with Josh, we decided it would be better for the finish to leave all the mill marks and not polish them out like they normally would be...I personally love it. So thats the raw part of it. Josh then torched it and these are the colors that popped out of the 1018 carbon steel. In the second picture is the special something that is being included for the first 20 people who ordered. I hope Josh and Zack don't mind me throwing this in here. Its a personalized plaque with the putter specs, owners name and their respective order number. It is also the diameter of the cup size so you can put it on the rug at home and putt to it...I know i'll be framing mine...awesome work, can't wait to get it and see how it feels.
