it looks like most of the pictures from the past few weeks, I've seen the Nike staff players hitting the non-tour covert driver over the tour...what is that teliing us?

I think that is Stewart Cink's bag. Looks like its maybe one or two of the vrs forged irons.

I think the tour version has a weight on the bottom and these do not. so I think they must be the non tour ones. Personally I like the look of the black and red of the tour over the normal but i would probably buy the more forgiving.

Notice any one trying to make the switch from the belly to a standard putter yet?

Practice rounds with the standard putter then tourney rounds with the belly? Holding out hoping the rule will be over turned?  Going to milk the belly til 2016?  Trying out standard putters on the practice green?

I'm just interested on how the tour guys will make the adjustment.

Kenny Perry back to the r7 irons?  He was playing some form of Adams Redline wasn't he?  I suppose he is happy with the Taylormade/Adams acquisition.

That is/was Cink's driver and I just spoke with him.  No crack in the face.  Just a shadow or illusion in the photo.

Stewart also told me that this Covert driver is one of the best sounding driver's he's ever hit.  

There is a video in the Covert thread that I shot of Carl Pettersson hitting it this morning on the range with sound.  You can hear how good it sounds in the two real-time swings.  The slow-mo swing has distorted sound.

I think the trend with all these militaristic names is quite ridiculous. Sorry, but I just can't see the connection between golf and warfare.."Covert", Long Tom and stealth shafts, black ops shafts and such is just ridiculous. same goes for Camo pattern golf bags, shirts etc. It seems to be a very american thing, is it really that popular to connect everything with the military in the US? Including strolling down a green field in search of a little white ball?

Definitely noticed this, I love Oakley shoes.  Surprised by this because Keegan is always in Oakley shoes.

Company has no plan to release new clubs in the US this year to my knowledge. If you haven't tried the J40CB, you owe it to yourself. I have a set with KBS tours an they're some of the best forgings I've ever played.
