Well, it's 81 degrees here in College Station, Texas and I think I'm going to go walk 9 holes after class today.

How do you northerners feel about that??

It has been an amazing November and December so far.

However, whenever we see "winters" like this, I become concerned that August is going to be 31 straight days of 124° and no rain...

Rain Rain go away up here in Seattle.  I'm actually going to go buy a H2NO bag tomorrow.  At least it's not snowing.

I played a round down in the Plano area at the end of June.  It felt like I was trying to golf in a sauna.  The worst part is when the club pro laughed and said it was going to get even more hot and humid from July-August!

Yeah, but are Stevens Pass, Snoqualmie, Crystal and Baker open yet?  Fine alternatives to a wet 18.

Perhaps you have better weather right now, but you are still in Texas.

I figured getting a stress fracture in might foot in late November would be ideal.  I could rest up for a month, give the courses down here time for the overseeding to settle in, and be good to go in January.  Unfortunately, i've been having to stare out the window at 80* December days :(

Good one! Actually, as a life-long Texan, I kinda think our weather stinks. Sure, it can be nice from Nov.-Feb, but when the temperature is good, the wind is usually blowing 20-30. And then when it gets hot as Hades, from June-Sept., the wind stops.
