With so many ball deals from nike, Taylormade, Callaway, and srixon and getting these premium balls under 25 bucks, I see no reason to buy prov1s anymore

It's crazy all the deals in the US for premium golf balls. Never anything like this in Canada It's too bad.

I know. If you think of it we pay on average 30% atleast just due to shipping costs. They do this cause they know we have more money.

I still do the buy 3 get one free every year from Titleist, because I just prefer Titleist balls for tournament play (no rational reason, other than I just like them)

But from Oct to May I like try other stuff. Whenever I can buy a premium ball for less than $25/dozen, it will find its way into my bag. Currently playing the prior gen Srixon Z-Star yellows that I got for $19.99/doz at Dicks last winter. Will be playing these Hex Blacks all the way into next summer.

The only time I get golf balls at that price is when I happen to cross the border on vacation. I usually pick up what I can and hope there's a deal at that time.

i agree.  the "uninformed" people are still buying prov1/x balls regardless of skill-levels, just thinking whats advertised as best as the best, but sooner or later, they will also catch on and walk away from prov1/x for more affordable premium balls.  last time i bought prov1/x was about 3 years ago.  no need to buy them when i can other premium balls for under $20 if i just look around.
when my friend hit one of my w/s fg tour balls (cosmetic blemish deal), he said he would no longer pay so much money for prov1 balls.  the similar has happened with other friends with other premium balls like zstar series and taylormade urethane balls.
