Crap, I was just about to pull the trigger on an anser..Hmm Does anyone know if there will be a pink version sold to the public like the g20? I play for the cure every time im out on the course, and would love to get a driver. Mom had cancer, as well as my best friends mom, so it would be nice to see some proceeds donated.

Good charity to be hip to for sure.  And PING does their part as you mentioned.  Just get a G25 and throw a few bucks at the pink ribbon foundation. (is it still called Susan G Foundation?  I know there was a shakeup)

How did you think the spin and launch were compared to the Anser?

Higher launch , very similar low spin. Not quite as low but I compared a stock tfc (all they had) in g25 versus Anser with Ahina. To me g25 is a super forgiving love child of the Anser and I20.

as a g15 owner who got club in june 2011 im disappointed that ping has now gone every year for its product cycles instead of every 2 years. felt that being a slower releaser of product was an advantage for them and i think it kept quality higher. having said that the equipment of course looks excellent.
I agree with you about a 2 year release cycle being more conducive to better quality.  The Titleist and Ping products I've owned have been awesome vs other manufacturers who have a 2 month release cycle (only slightly overexagerating on that:).  I'm hoping Ping is just temporarily feeling the pinch to release adjustable products and will continue with their 2 year release cycle after they have their first generation adjustable product lines out.
Ping is still on the same schedule as always, the i20 was last year and the g20 was two years ago, same goes with the G/I 15 line.  So it has been two years for the G20 and now the G25, this will be the second year of the i20 line so next year this time you should expect the new i25.  So Ping has not changed the rotation, the only difference has been the sub lines ie Anser etc.
I think the G20 was introduced around August 2010, from my recollection this is the first time they have debuted a new G line in closer to an 18 month(est) timeline.  I think they all have been introduced in the fall.  Being in the Northeast it always sort of irked me.
Ummmmm,,,,, August, 2010, was almost 30 months ago,,,,,, Could it be August, 2011 ?
Ummmm yea, August 2011

Finally had a chance to hit the G25 driver today.  Tested it along with the new TM lineup.  The G25 is like cheating!  Man, that thing is easy to hit.

I assume by your post that you prefer the G25 to the new TM stuff. Can you give any specifics? I am very interested.
