The Covert Tour Driver is 430ccA friend of mine who plays on the european tour had a new toy in my work today.

Nike VR Covert Tour issue. X flex Phenom



Sweet looking head. lower spinning than my 910d2 head with a nice compact look.


I must say i didnt expect to like this club but im now a fan.

Is the tour driver red?  I think it would have looked better in a different color.  At least it's not the red/orange fade color TM used on the CGB Max!

Tour driver is red/black
Regular driver is red/silver

They are terrible shots but its all i can get on for now as im working lol.

The flight was similar to that of my 910 d3 same shaft. Sound was like the VR pro Ltd. No horid boom sounds like the SQ line of drivers. It dosent show in the pics well but the head looks very small compared to the pro ltd. Colour is closer to the deep red than expected. All i can say is well done nike this driver is sweet.

I didnt have the launch monitor handy to get any stats.


I didnt realise until it was in hand how deep the cavity is on these things.

I was really debating on whether to keep the RAZR Fit driver/fairway deal I picked up, but I definitely will return it and get some store credit.  The Nike Covert has taken the #1 spot on my list....Thanks for the pics!!!

I like the "candy apple red" color!  Nice photos..... the Nike Swoosh on the crown really isn't that distracting at all.

I havn't wanted a Nike driver since the Ignite Tour 460.  That one looks nice.  Probably really forgiving by the looks of things and that swoosh on top is cool.  It looks like the new trend going forward is crown graphics.  Nike, TM and Admas have gone that route for 13.
