Will be working with TWFoundation/Media at this tournament. If there's something you're interested in/want to see (other than interview with Tiger), let me know, and I'll see what I can do.

Anyone know how many RR points are on the line this year?  A lot of complaining was done last season when Tiger won and it helped him get back inside the top 20 (IIRC).

They dropped the "home tour" points for this event and the Nedbank. Not sure what that will mean to the point values, because this field looks stronger than last year's (which iirc didn't have anyone in the top 5).

IMO, these silly season events shouldn't be counted in the OWGR.

Will TW be using a red driver? That's the big question.

Bet the farm.

Well, actually, is there such a thing as win, place, show bets in golf?

Never mind, TW, who know when the last time he picked up a club was.

Hope that helps.

As cool as the Covert driver looks if I were Tiger I wouldn't touch that driver.  He is hitting more fairways now then ever.

According to whom? The owgr?  Whatever.

#2 not there? Good, saw enough paint dry last weekend in Dubai. But the most dominant player of the last 25 years is playing (and by far the best). And everybody else there (and owgr #1 and 2) ought to kiss his ample backside for all the money they're making now, all due to him.

According to the OWGR? Nope, according to me. I have eyes and can read numbers... the numbers over the last 3 to 4 years have been plain to see.

The OWGR numbers one and two should kiss Tigers backside? They wouldn't get near because of folks like yourself kissing it!

That was B.H.*.    Tiger 2.0 is a different story, no majors since 2008

Ha! Nice try. But I don't even like the guy. But I can know greatness when I see it. And you can bet your backside your boy Luke knows where his bread is buttered. "Thanks for allowing me to win millions of dollars while I gag in majors, Tiger!"

Why does every PGA thread go down this same road?

I always enjoy watching this tourney, amazing course, strong field, beautiful houses and pretty dramatic the last few years. Cool way to end the year!

I attended the last two years but decided to pass this year, still might end up going though.

While 1 and 2 are kissing his a**, will Tiger be laying one on Arnold Palmer's? Could get ugly...

I think I just came up with the plot line for Human Centipede 3

I hear MizzyMan had a thing with Diane Donald for a while before Luke stole her.

Nah, my wife's much better-looking than her. And I don't dislike him, he seems like a good guy, I just don't like to watch him play. I've seen him play some great golf, but have never seen any greatness in him. I don't see what's so hard to grasp about that.

For those in the thread that despise or dislike Tiger, you have to admit this years field of players is much better than last year IIRC.  Honestly, outside of Rory, Luke and Lee, this field is close to being on par with the Tour Championship.  Really a solid top notch field (16 out of top 26 in the world are playing, Fowler 30th & Day 35th).

When you get 120K+ for just showing up to play there should be no OGWR points for this. There will be endless compliments for Tiger's Foundation and  the Players telling the media and TV announcers  "I hope Tiger plays well and wins money for his charity."

Everyone knows who wins this silly event before the first ball is hit. But WTF 20th place is still a bunch of free points.

There are only 18 players, but i see your point.  Also, last place doesn't earn you a bunch of free points.  Last year, if you finished last, you earned 2.4 points, but don't let those facts get in your way.

Also, where was all the hatred and vitriol last year when the Euro players played at Nedbank and earned a bunch of free money and easy WR points....?

Hate it or Love it , everyone that loves golf will be watching.

This is one of the only events outside the majors where you can actually watch golf shots from every group and not just putting.

Watching great players in a tournament at the end of November is always a PLUS.

This is a great field but I wish Rory was playing.  Maybe down the road he will since he and TW are becoming friends on the tour.
