I'm a right handed player, I've noticed that my right hand does not stay secure on the club once I start my down swing, meaning my fingers and thumb stay connected but the palm or part of the hand below my thumb doesn't stay on top of my left thumb.  Does this make a difference or cause any flaws?

hummm, very interesting.  Hold onto the triangle. The kinetics of it might suggest the right elbow flying but let's see what the full swing gurus have to say.

Yeah, I saw I posted twice, don't know how to erase other post.

I have been working on my swing plane and making a lot of half speed swings and noticed I was doing this when I saw myself on video

go to the duplicate post and right beside the "quote" button hit Delete.

This is the classic "regrip"! Work on 9-3 drills while keeping the pad of your right thumb over and in contact with the top of the left  thumb. Don't do this with gripping tightly but rather paying attention to feeling the right thumb pad in contact with top of left thumb. I agree with the Doc here, tis is typical of a flying right elbow or one wher you allow the right ebow to get behind you. this normally leeads to casting as well.

Thanks , my typical flaw is coming over the top slightly with a closed face
