I actually live about 3 minutes from a golf dome. Pretty convenient for me, though my wife knows that as soon as we buy a house i'm putting a full blown simulator in the basement. I'm not sure i would be super into a heated range, seems like a weird concept to me. How cold is it outside under the heat?
Used to go to a heated outdoor range when I lived in Vancouver (yes not Quebec, but for around 5 degrees they are fine.I doubt heaters help when its -20 though) and as long as its not windy they are properly toasty. Think of hitting balls under those outdoor heaters they use on the terrasses at bars and restos. That seemed about the level of heat you'd get.

It has since been sold to a housing promoter but, until 3 yrs ago, I went 3-4 times a week at a heated range (stalls) and at -20°C (± 0°F) you would still take your winter jacket off. A sweatshirt was enough to keep you comfortable.....Even in moderate windy conditions (15-20 mph)
It was in Varennes, on the South Shore of Montreal. It would close one month in the year, btw Dec 15 and Jan 15.
