913 D2 8.5* D2 setting with the Diamana D+ 62 stiff.....kaboom!!!!

Best feeling, longest, least amount of back spin driver I have ever hit or owned.  Great job Titleist

Glad you like it. It's a nice feeling when you find THE driver. :-)

105 normal swing,  108-110 when I push it.    This set up gave me 13* launch, 155 ball speed and 2700 rpm.

Why did you go to the d2 from a d3? The reason I ask is because it seems like a lot of players are going with the d2 model in the 913 series. I the past most high spin players went with the d3 model.

I am happy to say that the spin number were about the same in the D2.  While i do like the look of the d3, i have more confidence with the d2....it reminds me of my 905r, the best driver i ever had.  I loved the 910 d3, but this one is longer and less spin. Love the sound and forgiveness in the 913 D2....even at a lower loft it was not as punishing on miss hits as my 910 D3

I got the 913 D3 at the start of November, it's the best sounding driver I've ever had, lots of playing partners have comented on the great sound. I got 9.5 D3 with the D+ 72. I hit it well enough but I prefer a 60g shaft. I've just ordered the S+ 62 in x-flex but didn't think about the D+ in 62. Never mind, could be my next one to try.

Yeah im one of those hard to fit 'tweener guys...needed something lighter than 70+ grams but still be pretty stiff and low spinning.  I already have a real diamana white board 73 and an Aldila RIP 60 with titleist tips on them so they can be swapped easily.  Buti do love the new white board in 62...but i do wonder if i should have gotten it in X flex lol.   It never ends right?

...tell me about it. I'm loving the 913D3 head but I'm struggling to find a shaft for it. I've had the D+72, Fubuki Alpha 60 Stiff & a WB 63x5ct. I liked the flight and spin with the D+ but it felt to heavy. The Fubuki Alpha felt superb, nice high launch and big carry but too soft in the tip, x-flex could have been great. The WB was nice but didnt feel well balanced, it was aftermarket assembled. I do launch the ball high with a +6 angle of attack and create low spin. I wouldn't mind a slightly flatter ball flight but here in the UK most of my distance has to be Carry as unless I go to play on a Links course the fairways are soft more often than not...  Maybe the S+ will be the one, we'll see?

100% in agreement.  I was going  to try a Kiyoshi white or the yet to be released Matrix Red Tie but the Phenom is awsome and will look no further, I'll save my money and buy another putter I don't need.

I found the phenom to be a little unstable and i had very high spin numbers with most shots balooning off to the right.  I like the look of this shaft the most though.   Like the RIP alpha much better for feel and performance.

I'm going to get one of these drivers but I've been struggling to choose a shaft myself. One of the ones I wanted to try was the WB63.

Did you get the tip installed by somewhere in Manchester - you think that was the problem that it wasn't from Titleist?

Is it a stiff flex?

Cheers,

I have been playing the 913 D3 8.5 with F6M2 shaft for the last few weeks. It could be honeymoon stage but this is much better IMHO and an improvement from the 910 D3 I was gaming. For me, I hit it much much straighter and it carrys a few yards father but with a bit more roll. I have hit some of my longest drives over the past few weeks and even more impressive, my most accurate drives. The head, for me, inspires confidence and sits a bit more square to my eye and it looks like a point and shoot driver which is what I have been doing with it. The true test will come next week as me and soime buddies are making a week long trip to TPC Sawgrass but so far I have been actually able to score since I am hitting more fairways. Lets just say that in our regular game over the holiday weekend, the driver paid for itself.

I got fitted with the Diamana D+ 72 X but have that as a backup shaft because my F6M2 from the 910 was out performing the Diamana. I didnt try the D2 since I really like the looks of the D3. Again for me, the differences are significant enough that I changed and I truely feel that this is a better head than the 910 series. I love mine and my boys will tell you they hate it!! LOL!!

Awesome...I liked that shaft in the d3 setup and it was a sweet feeling driver

Please stop with all the glowing reviews about the 913. My Rapture V2 with a BB shaft has been in my bag for two full seasons and has been great. But evertime I turn around I read another review about how fantastic these are. This has to stop.............you guys are making it hard on me to resist the temptation to hit one. :swoon:

The 913 D2 certainly looks better to my eye than the 910 D2. Glad so many are having great success with these.

its funny though... some are saying the 910 is better for them..specially the D3,  ill be honest as i stated above i played a 910 D3 for 2 seasons and it was pretty damn good..  but i didnt get on very well with the 913 D3.. with any shaft.  dunno why.   But the D2 was a different story!

I got one.... thinking it would be the club that lasted all next season...   Week 2 i was already messing with different shafts...  Ugh, the ho-ing will not stop.

From 913D3 w/ 72x White,   now with a AD-BB 6S.   Who knows what is next.

...and whats your first thoughts on the BB 6S compared to the 72x - quite a change in shaft weight?

Here's the sad part...I bought both a 913 D2 (D+ 72) and D3 (Phenom 70) in the past month...and I still have the 910 D2 (Project X 7C3) and D3 (RIP 70) that I purchased previously.

I blame the upcoming winter and lack of play/practice time for my ho'ing.  Cold weather and limited daylight sucks!
