Hey Floridians, will be there for work and was wondering if there are any practice facilities near by and also a good course I can hopefully get on?

Heathrow area has a few older, established courses such as Alaqua and Timiquan. They will have practice facilities but I would not necessarily recomend to play. If you have transportation, courses near Disney are pretty nice. Grand Cypress new course is a St. Andrews themed course or Magnolia at Disney, where the PGA plays. Also, Falcons Fire and Orange County National are pretty nice.

Check out https://teeagent.com/ for Orlando specific tee times. Pretty cool site that offered 3 courses each week.

Might be thought to find a practice spot here, lots of private and public courses, just not much practicencenters near.

I highly recommend you check out Alaqua, its not even five minutes from Heathrow. You can get a very good rate on Golfnow; the course is supposed to be completely private but they have been offering insanely good deals on Golfnow.

The closest driving range from Heathrow is about 25 minutes away in Oviedo; its called Tee It Up.
