I don't think it was a mistake, they (Callaway) clearly have a new line coming out....pga's bottom line might be losing money, but I'm not sure it was a mistake.....whether they have the inventory might be an issue

I took the plunge.  With the 15% coupon code earlier in this thread....it actually takes 15% off whole order + free shipping.

That makes each vokey at $59.47 with free shipping and no tax. So, I decided on getting the 52/56/60 even though my iron set came with a 49 degree GW.  I'm a golf addict :/

I wouldn't worry too much, I actually placed two orders back-to-back and my billing phone isn't up to date, causing them to cancel the orders. I called immediately and explained the billing issue and they not only resolved the problem within minutes, but found the clubs I had originally ordered somewhere else as they had sold out online in the 5-10 minutes since the cancellation. All along they were aware of the coupon and what it lowered the total too and didn't raise a fuss at all.

The pro shop at my club had a whole rack of soft goods marked down 70%. And that was 70% off the usual slightly discounted "members price" not 70% off MSRP.

Unfortunately I am pretty well stocked up with winter golf clothing, they had several really nice lined sweater/jumper type things, long-sleeve windshirts (including one in a color that's just perfect for me) and a couple other odds and ends. All of them in the range $20-$24 and with our club logo on them.

But I did grab the one thing I was needing. It's a full-zip, lightweight sleeveless wind breaker pullover. I mostly have vee neck and half-zip stuff and it's mostly sweaters instead of the lighter, breathable gear. I paid 14 bucks plus sales tax and it's a great blue-gray color, with logo, and is also the rare "XL" size item nowadays that doesn't hang off me like a tent. Perfect!

My Razr fit driver and 3 wood were still not listed as shipped yesterday so I emailed them. Got a return email within 5 min stating the clubs were on backorder, Cally was expediting shipping and my clubs should ship by the end if the week. A little bummed, then I woke up to snow this morning so no rush.

I called them today - great customer service on the phone. The lady explained that they didn't expect the rush on Black Friday so they ran out of product. They are getting more in tomorrow and again at the end of the week. If you call they should be able to tell you when your order will ship. Mine actually shipped out today.

They are getting more in tomorrow and again at the end of the week. If you call they should be able to tell you when your order will ship. Mine actually shipped out today.

Ya, I've been talking with PGA Tour SS and they got hammered with the Callaway Razr Fit deal.  They confirmed the back order and everyone will be taken care of.  This was good news for me as I was able to change my order to a PX6.5 instead of a PX 6.0

my fears were unfounded.  received in the mail today (though I will say I'm still surprised they discounted the promo where nobody else did AND not to mention their 25% discount calculation was done "wrong".  It was taking 25% off the retail price of the driver+wood -299+149, then zeroing out the wood to $0 but retaining the full discount ).

regardless, PGA SS wins this holiday season.  picked up a men+women fit drivers, 3+5 fit woods.  had to at least get the wife something right? ;P  (and thanks to the original poster who found out this worked)

So last week I was at Sports Authority and they had a Callaway Diablo Edge Tour 3 wood left handed for $69.99. I really don't need a 3 wood, so I decided to see if it would come down in price on black friday. So I ran over today at lunch. It was still $69.99. I decided to hit it and see what happens. So I was in there and the young kid helping me was like take your time there is no one in here today. So I am hitting and the 3 wood is ok, but not $69.99 ok when I have 3 others at home. But as I was walking out I see a brand new albeit with a nice little pitena Cally X Forged C Grind wedge 56* left handed. I pick it up and you can tell it was used in the hitting bay as there were quite a few pieces of shredded ball in the grooves and the head was browning nicely. It had a sticker on it for $49.99. I asked the kid if this is for sale. He said let me check with my manager. So the guy comes over and I ask if it's for sale and could he do any better on the price since it was obviously used. He said how about 50% off. I said done.

So I scored a 56* Cally X Forged C Grind wedge left handed for $19.99. Even though I have my custom Sctratch wedges that won't leave the bag anytime soon, I couldn't pass up that deal!!!

Well, I'm not getting my order.  Called today looking for an order confirmation and found out that my order wasn't changed on Monday when I talked to the customer service rep.  Told me today that the TA's aren't available anymore. ( but they were available Monday?? ).   Oh well.....

It was a great deal but realistically, they would've ended up in the closet.

They seemed quite tickled with themselves that they were actually refunding the money on an out of stock item, and not leaving me hanging. I particularly enjoyed the offer to "order something else."

LOL.  That sucks though.  They were one of the sites on my "elite" list.  ve never heard of an issue with them, but to hear something as basic as "we oversold" is troubling.
