I received a gift from a good friend.
It was a late 18th century writing desk built near Washington's Crossing, PA.

I was absolutely flabbergasted. Anyway, I thought the painting would be great to put over the desk,
given the place of origin.

It's my absolute favorite picture in existence.

Thats me with the Bear at "The Bear Trap" at PGA National in Palm Beach Gardens. I played it twice last summer....

Score through the Bear Trap:

15. 7 iron to 156 flag. Hurting wind. Ended up hole high but in the water right.
      6 iron pulled left/long for my 3rd shot.
      Double bogey

16. 3W into the fairway for 190 left.
      5 iron onto the lower portion of the green
      Up hill 20 foot birdie putt that blew past the hole 8 feet.
      Ended with three putt bogey

17. 8 Iron into the green for a two putt par.

It was February and I was playing nine holes by myself and came to a par-3, 180 over water, into the wind. Pulled my tee shot left of green and thought, I can do better. Dropped a ball on the grass -- no tee-- and hit it dead on line. It looked like a "leaner." Walked around the pond and before I could get to the green the ball fell in. A no-it-doesn't-count-but-it-sure-was-fun "mulligan ace." So I whipped out the cell phone and took a pic.

First picture is of my boy Hogan who I lost five years ago this past month.  Amazing dog

Second is a picture of Bear,  who we got at a pediatric cancer fundraiser almost one year later. Actually,  pretty good story to that.  He's easily the happiest lab on the planet. Or anything living for that matter...

Actually need to update it as we have gotten a second -  Sam.  Lab/herder mix.  Lots of energy!

I switched to this one when I was issued a permanent disability (handicap) parking pass.   I was hit head on during a pursuit by the  fleeing suspects vehicle.  Totaled my squad car and totaled my back at the same time.  I now have half a pound of titanium fused to my spine.  

I figured this avatar was fitting for me.

Well no one has approached me yet but I am sure they are thinking it.   Especially when I grab my clubs from the car.
