I know there are a few reviews already on this club. JW and others have done a great job but I wanted to post my thoughts after 2 rounds with it....
Quick about me, Index is at 9.5 to end the season (it was at 14 to start) I use to be able to close my eyes and rip driver down fairway but I couldnt pitch/chip to save my life.... Now i'm servicable in that area but struggle off T, fear of left has me tending to "hold" the release (stupid game we play)
I had my 1st driver fitting 6yrs ago and ended up with a OG Ping Rapture....Played it ever since even In September I bought a 910 d3 after the price dropped just to try something new....I kept it for 3 rounds, Loved the feel it just couldnt keep up with the Rapture....In October I had a fitting for the 913 and ended up ordering a 913 d3 9.5* with Phenom 60 (I liked one of the upcharge shafts feel slightly better but since the numbers were identical, I wasnt spending the $$$$)
I have 2 rounds in this week with the 913 (also brought Rapture out), 1 round where I swinging well and 1 I was off. Here are my thoughts....
For me the 913 feels better than the 910 did, I like the sound, face feels hotter....Compared to the Rapture the 913 feels smoother to me (prob the shaft) Peformance wise, I didnt find myself in any new spots off the Tee....When flushed the 913 and Rapture were neck and neck in distance but the 913 had a huge 20-40yds advantage on misshits, specifically toe hits....913 hardly lost anything off the toe, and ball still held the line without a drift right....
Now I only wish it wasnt going to snow here next week....
