Took a hot air balloon ride last night in Rancho Sante Fe, CA and was able to capture a couple aerial pics of Phil Mickelson's home and adjoining practice facility.  I was 2500 ft. above so the quality is not perfect with the iphone but you get the idea.  Looks like a driving range on the left and a multi-green/bunker short game area on the right.

GREAT post.  That's cool.  I'll bet the hot air balloon experience is second to none.  Wouldn't you love to have a setup like that in your back yard and instead of going to work each day, you went to work on your game!!

He sold his original 12,000 sq. ft. house about 2 or 3 years ago that was located on The Bridges at Rancho Sante Fe golf club where he utilized their practice facility.   This one is 18,000+ sq. ft. and just a couple miles south of there.

Awesome pics, even if those birds-eye view shots do make me feel a little queasy due to my fear of heights!

Maybe he should build a driving range next, so he can work on hitting the ball a bit straighter.

The one on the right in the first picture and both driving ranges. The house on the left in the first pic, is another property.
