Seriously, a heated head cover?  IDK about all that nonsense

How to use it

The club is extremely effective hot or cold, but keep it at the optimal temperature using the unique heated head cover and the ball will strike consistently further and straighter off the tee – as proved in independent tests.

Already been discussed.

Still don't see it on the conforming list.

Interesting...

Quote

The R&A have ruled that the Boom Boom 2 conforms to the rules of golf.

I'm willing to go out on a limb and say the club itself might be conforming, but using that heated headcover during a round wouldn't be.

It should be obvious to everybody as to its legality.

I know I see nothing in the rule or decisions books that say you can't heat your golf club head...

We absolutely know its OK to heat it before the round and carry it in a very long thermos to keep it the same temperature throughout the round... I'm going to patent some gloves like hot pads so you don't burn yourself when using it.

:-)

I will not over complicate this thread.

I'll just say, "That driver is purr-dee!"

Sorry, I had forgotten there was already a thread here.

I can confirm however that the R&A has approved the club on its own but until a sample of the head cover is submitted they can't give a view on whether or not it conforms.
