Just picked up a Motore Speeder 7.2 X (non Tour Spec version) shaft for a Ping i20 driver head I have.  Does it play true to flex?  I swing 108-110 and looking for tipping recommendations. Thanks!

Don't know, but am sure it would be close. If your tempo is quick I'd say tip it 1/2", if not, untipped. Definitely jealous of that stealth combo! Would love to try that.

Yes, very true to flex.  I have one in my Titleist 910 driver and it's factory tipped 1/2" (which they do to all their driver shafts) and it's great.  I have a very similar swing speed to you.

It's very true to flex if not a little on the stiffer end.  A 7.2X is a lot of shaft for 108-110 SS I'd think?  I wouldn't suggest any tipping personally.

Then again..Steve Stricker plays a 8.2X tour spec in his driver..

I had a Fuji 7.2 x in my R11S and imo it plays true to flex.  My clubhead speed is very similar to yours.  It was in a 10.5 head fully opened and it GOES.  Low spinner howitzer imo.

Put it straight in and it is PLENTY stiff.  The 7.2 is a lot stiffer than the 6.2.  Two totally different shafts.
