I need to re-shaft my MX-25s.  I still like them but never been crazy on the looks - I set that aside as being aesthetics only.  I tried the 825 Pros (among many others) and like them a lot and if I were to replace my MX-25s, I'd spring for a fitted set of 825 pros.

Or, I could save the $1000 and re-fit and re-shaft my MX-25s.  What would those wiser than me do?

I am definitely NOT wiser but I would sell the MX 25 and buy the new 825 pro, liking the looks goes a long way in the confidence department. Besides this is WRX and we must buy the lastest and greatest . You only live once.

Do you have the money? If you do, then definitely go for the 825's.

If not, then keep the 25's. Nothing wrong with them - very good clubs --  but hte 825's are way better, from a distance as well as sweet spot standpoint.

Hard to imagine a sweet spot larger than on the mx-25s.
Thanks for the advice though - I might wait through the winter and hope that I see some sort of sale on the JPX's otherwise I will just do that shafts on the MX-25s. Boo...no new clubs for me.

Tell ya what - I have 800 Pro's, thought nothing could be easier to hit - until I tried the 825's.
