I don't know if such thread already exists but I thought it'd be funny...

Here I go :

I once drove a golf ball on ......

- A house (who hasn't ?)
- A condo building with pretty much nothing else than windows (miraculously, didn't brake a single window !)
- A golf cart in which was sitting a VERY pregnant woman...
-  A former Canadian Prime Minister, JEAN CHRETIEN (Yes I did !)

Let's hear it !

I have never hit anyone famous but I did play in a 3 day tournament where I hit the same house off the tee 3 days in a row trying to cut off a dogleg.

I once snap-hooked a tee ball into the back of an oncoming dump-truck that was later spied 7 miles away in the next town. The "clong" sound was almost as remarkable as the 7-mile driver shot.

I didn't do it, but the funniest thing i've ever seen was a guy drive the ball into a wooden tee marker, and then have the ball shoot 20 yds behind the tee box which was actually forest. The guy went in the woods and played the ball from there and was hitting 4 by the time he actually got it back to the tee box.

I've driven the ball about 10yds away from where a guy was getting a police beating aswell. I was playing a course up north and a guy had been pulled over in a stolen car next to the 8th hole. My drive landed about 10yds from there this was happening and we had to wait for the green to clear. I just stood there and watched the police restrain this guy as he was resisting arrest. Pretty funny.

When I was 15 I tee'd off with the group in front of us being about 270 yards off the tee, definitely out of my range.  I guess maybe a combination of a good swing, little breeze, and probably an incorrect yardage marker and the next thing I know I hit this lady in the t**.  Can't make this up lol.   She was ok just a little shocked.

I was teeing off on a hole that has house's backyards that run along it, and a guy was out mowing his grass. He was about 50 yards up the fairway on the edge of his backyard and the rough. That nice gentleman stopped his lawnmower for me to tee off, only for my to repay him by duck hooking my 3 wood right into his stomach. I thought I killed someone. But turns out he was ok.

My best friend has hat me off the tee box and i was literally standing back/right of him. We are like 10 feet away and he could see me out of his right eye. his ball just went backwards off the toe. To this day i still don't know how you hit someone behind you.

I pulled an 8 iron about 50 yards left into the road that ran adjacent to the hole and hit the side of an ice cream that was unlucky enough to be driving by at that exact moment..

lol I've hit the tee marker at the members of the st-raphael and broke a wood one at meadowbrooks.

And I was curious to know where was the second story

First one was oddly enough, at Dorval on the revamped course. The new 8th hole that has the woods behind the tee box that is next to the green of the long par 5. The guy went in there and played it LOL

second one was on the 8th hole at Le Geant up in tremblant, the 490yd par 4 downhill that runs next to montee ryan. Flared my drive out left and was right next to the road. That was a weird experience. I kept trying to not pay attention haha

My friend once drove a ball left onto a busy rode, one bounce-over a car, two bounce-over the next car, then into the woods.  Thank god he didn't hit one of those cars!

I have two stories.

First one: Brand new golf course and they are building houses along the side of the fairway. These guys had just finished installing a double glass sliding door. Literally just finished and were walking to the front yard to get stuff out of their truck. My buddy tees off and slices it straight into these doors and shatters them. We all run to the woods to hide and watch them come back to complete shock and to see no one around. Absolutely hilarious. Absolutely terrifying.

Second: Hole along a road, guy driving by on a Harley. Wind just took a hold of my ball, one hopper smack right into the side of the Harley. The parking lot was right behind the tee blocks but there was forest. My dad and I heard him pull in to the parking lot screaming. We decided it was best we skip that hole and hoped in the cart straight for the 11th hole in the woods.

My only good one is similar to the story Jeff told.  Was playing at our home course in high school which used painted bricks as tee markers.  I tried to take a monster swing, and hit a laser right into the marker directly in front of me.  Hit the brick so hard that it flipped up in the air and the ball shot directly behind me into a tree which a squirrel proceeded to fall out of.  Pretty positive the ball didn't hit the squirrel just the branch it was on, as he ran off right after hitting the ground and reorienting himself but me and my high school buddies almost pissed ourselves laughing.

On the first tee, of my friends managed to toe-shank a 4 wood straight right and ding his own car in the parking lot. This was after he had shown up and called the lady in the pro shop by the wrong name, while I was busy writing our names to the dinner list, thinking it was the sign in sheet. We looked really good that day.

My friend once drove a golf ball on the nuts of another friend!  True story, in high school, when we were just learning the game, a friend tees off and hits it 90 degrees from his intended line and hits one of our other friends right in the nuts.  Dropped him hard right on the spot while the rest of us rolled around laughing our a$$es off.  I still can't understand how he could hit it 90 degrees right (?).

I once drove a golf ball on a beach with sunning beauties.  I was playing the 11th at Sand Piper in Goleta CA (near Santa Barbara), a little par 3 that plays right toward the ocean.  Well, I was really stressed out front he group behind us hitting into us and almost getting into a fight with some guys in our group.  Well, I striped a 4 iron about 190 into the wind and watched it fly the green and land on the beach.  I couldn't believe that I hit it so much further than 190 yds then realized that we were playing from a different tees and the yardage was about 165.  The only good part was viewing the bathing beauties as I went to retrieve my ball.

when i was 18 i was teeing off on the 18th hole and we had been behind these group of elderly people about all day and they were taking there sweet ole time. They got in the cart and started pulling of well as they were pulling off i hit driver and the ball sliced so bad the ball went into there cart bounced around and hit both old ladies in the head. Well i was in shock and one of the old womans husband started driving the cart up to the tee box where we were and jumped out of the cart with a club and started waving it at me and yelling. My dad bucked up and was bout to whoop his @ss. The guy mumbled and couple insults and got back in his cart and drove off.

I didn't do this, but I got paired up with a guy and his son in law. The older guy, on the 18th, hit his ball off the tee behind him 180*. I mean literally behind his back from address position. The ball his a duck right in the throat and it fell into the water in front of us. Another duck jumped on top of it. At first we thought the injured duck was being attached, but it was actually being kept from drowning until it could swim on it's own again. His son in law was next to hit. Long hitter, 300+ w/ driver. He hit it into the water 3 times about 40 yards ahead then snap hooked one that sent a flock of birds flying out of a tree.

I once hit an actual railway line (20 yards the other side of the course boundary) and it bounced all the way back into play :)

I also played with a guy who pulled a drive so bad it went 80 yards left and it really looked like it landed ON a passing train. We reckon it probably broke some kind of long drive record.

A couple of weeks ago my playing partner pulled his drive, hit a tree dead center, on the left, about 30 yards away and he had to literally dive out of the way as it came straight back at his head. It ended up behind the bush at the back of the tee leaving him no shot at all.

I did the same thing this year, but the ball only went to the championship tees behind me.

Not my shot, but I was playing with my brother and my dad on medium length par 3. Brother steps up to the tee with my dad directly behind him, sitting in a cart. Brother hits hosel rocket which proceeds to hit and shatter the top of the ball washer, then ricochet to hit my dad in the face. No injuries, and the funniest thing I have ever seen. Ironically, 3 or 4 years later I hit a hole in one on that same hole, lots of interesting memories there!

my twin brother hit a buddy in the ribs

he also hit 4 houses in one round

but the best was an 80 yard block he hit over a road that hit a horse

I've seen a good buddy hit a tee marker in a follow thru and snap off the head of his driver
