Hit these yesterday. Awesome ball. I currently play the TP5, and love it. "Project 5" is definitely softer, and launches higher.  A little windy yesterday, and I only played 9, so I'll have a better feeling on Thursday.

Hmmm, I have played about 24 hole with it and my first thoughts were it felt harder off the putter and I also felt it flew a touch higher as one would think when comparing the dimples between the two.

Also, no seam!

No seam? It looks like the 'Project 5' label is lined up right on the seam in those pictures, maybe it's just me.

I love it when they put the label right on the seam, makes it easier for me to put a good line on it.

Well, compared to this years Penta which can see the seam clearly, this is quite different. Of course there is a seam, less visible.

I got a sleave of Project 5s from Kascopro and played them today in a tournament.  Right out the gate they were great.  Good feel and nice ball flight.  First time in the top 10 so these are going to be the new ball for me.

Thanks Z!

This would be awesome. Wish I was able to get some of these to try out. I currently play the TP5 and I'd like to see how these stack up. Looking forward to swing what everyone has to say about these.

i plan on testing these this weekend if the weather holds out!  in person they look MUCH different than the tp5's.  very interested to see the playability differences between the balls.  i fell in love with the tp5's - a jack of all trade, but there is room for improvement!

They need a little more space between the t and the 5, unless the ball is meant for the public housing golf courses.

PROJECT 5 without the space looks like PROJECTS, or community assisted housing...

I actually switched to the TP5 this year after using the Srixon XV and ProV1x during the summer.  If the "project 5" keeps that feel with no seam (less visible) and more distance, I might have found my ball for next year.

I'm looking forward to doing my mini review of this ball, I played it the last two days and it's REALLY GOOD. I let my playing partner game a Project 5, he's an accomplished golfer and I wanted his feedback, he gained 10yrds over his current gamer and couldn't stop bragging about its overall performance. He's not a TM guy at all either, never really jived with the Penta...BB

I agree, it's a cool name and a simple extension of Penta5. This ball just beat out my beloved Cally Hex Black and I didn't see that coming...BB

On Monday I played in the Nor Cal Oakley Pro am with the project 5.  The bad news is it was cool, pretty windy and the greens had recently been punched.  Because of the punched greens I can't really give the ball a full review at this time.  But what I can say is the ball played great in wind!  I was also very happy with the feel of the ball off the clubface.  I am really looking forward to finding out how they react on proper greens, and putt.

I had heard this ball was great in the wind.

You got it! I'm pretty excited about trying them, and haven't tried the proto ProV1X on the course. I'll give a nice comparison, and will probably be a part of a review for the Project 5.
