Hey all,

Just wondering if any of you have gotten your hands (or feet, I should say) on the '13 Adipures yet. I see that they're on a number of stores' websites now, and I haven't seen that they're pre-order only or anything, so...

I know that there's been a lot of speculation about them based on the photos that have been available for a few months now, and the first-impression reactions have been pretty negative. Now that they're apparently available, I am interested in hearing how you've found them to look in person, fit compared to the previous Adipures, and any other impressions you might have.

They have dissapointed me with the new shoes. The strap adicross' are ugly and the new adipures are a step back from the z's and two steps back from the first generation of them.

I agree.  I own two pairs of the current Adipures and it looks like I'll be going back to ECCO.

Same here.  I may stock up on the old version first.

From what I've seen, it looks like the design team lost their way on these.

They took the "pure" out of Adi-Pure. The old models were very simple, clean designs. The new ones' have too much going on.

They look like just another pair of FootJoys or Nikes, they don't look distinctly Adidas to my eye.

Worst looking shoes ever. Whichever idiot had the idea to discontinue the classic Adipures and replace them with these deserves to be sacked.

Puma shoes all the way from now on.

Puma shoes (as of late) are too wide for my foot. The Adipures are not narrow, but are narrower, so they work pretty well for me. I'm interested in hearing how the new Adipures run, width-wise.

Sounds like no one here has gotten ahold of the new Adipures -- and it sounds like it's because no on likes the looks of them.

I don't love the looks from the pics, but wonder if they look better in person.

I don't know who you are anymore!  :cheesy:

I'm getting an extra pair of the old shoes.  Much classier looking.  But I agree.  The only color I even considered was the brown, and that was only considering.

I saw them in a GolfTown in Canada, and they don't look as bad as the pictures show them. They are not the best looking shoes, but they are not the worse shoes either. But the guys are right, The Adipure from the recent years are much better. I've been playing those for 2 years now, and they are like slippers. I'm trying to find another pair of them to stock for next year.

I saw them in person but did not try on.
The sole looks great, the upper has a style that is an acquired taste I guess.  They will do ok with pants but will look out of place with shorts.  As someone said, sort of a lateral move from the adipure Z.  Hopefully they will come to their senses and release the same shoe with a classic sport look on top more in line with the last few generations.

It appears that perhaps they have a new design team?  The whole line has a Asian design feel, with the color combinations and shapes.  The Nike '13 catalog looks far superior.  Perhaps that is where the adidas golf shoe designers went?

I was not a huge fan of these when I first saw them. I have 2 pairs of 2012 Adipures and a pair of Adipure Zs, so I at least wanna try 'em out, before I write them off. I've been a pretty rabid Adidas fan(in addition to the aforementioned shoes, I also have 2 pairs of 360s and a pair of Puremotions), so I'm going to give them a chance to impress me.

Same boat here...old style only. I hate Ti say this, but the new Nike's looked pretty good, but I will look for the original AdiPures only and have a new pair in storage.

Thanks. This is exactly what I was thinking -- that they would probably look good with pants, since they're so plain, and where no real detail would be covered by the pants (I'd imagine that that's the reason the 3 stripes appear low on the sole, where they'd still be visible with pants). But then, what's the point? There are plenty of other plain-looking shoes out there.

To mean, these appear to be an Adipure Z replacement, and not an Adipure replacement.

I am starting to wonder if these aren't the new Z model.  Does anyone know if these replace the regular or the Z?

Those definitely look like a new version of the Z, not the regular. I have a pair of the Zs in redwood brown, and they have been my only shoes for 2 years now. Phenomenal feel and fit, and I am definitely looking towards some 360s as I like those a bunch.
