I have a set of these, but seems like most people do not like them. What is the reason?

+1...  Srixon doesn't have the marketing presence of some of the other major OEMs but their products are solid.
I love golf

Probably because 99% of golfers have never seen, let alone hit, a Srixon iron.  I'm not going to say good things about a club I don't know exists.  My two cents, FWIW.

I just bought a set about a month ago, very solid and a great forging.  Nice easy to hit long irons with a fairly small offset and the 7-P are just dart throwers!  I came from MP63/68 combo and am very pleased with the srixons!

There is a cult following on these irons, I have not seen to much negative posts on these so not sure what love you are looking for, because on here there is a ton of love.  Best irons to date, and as far as the US thing, who cares all or most of us on here buy crap that is not even for sale retail anywhere.  So in my opinion who cares, yeah the average Joe may not be able to buy them or for that matter even know what they are, again who cares.  I have them and most of my buddies have zero idea about them, again who cares!!

If the ZTX II are anything like the i701 tours then they are fantastic irons - I picked up the i701 tours on the cheap a few months ago and could not be happier - basically after playing MP59's most of the year I find the Srixons as good or better.  So at least IMHO Srixon makes some wonderful irons.

Srixon stuff is as good as Bridgestone or Yonex, although I don't believe that Yonex ever had forged clubs.

Mizuno, however, seems to be in another class.

It's not that people dislike Srixon irons, the problem is availability to find a hard goods retailer. Ball presence is their main focus, they stated earlier in 2011 that they were pulling out of the US hard goods market (competition against their acquisition of Cleveland). They have a strong following in Asia as a top 3 manufacturer if I remember right.

I've had the chance to hit the ZTXII's and they are just as good as any Srixon iron. I was a huge fan of the i506's. Very solid feel, standard 6X's forging process, and tons of forgiveness for a player's CB.

If these were available in retailer's shops like your TM's and Titleist I think there would be an attitude shift towards perfomance over marketing. It's the same story as all other JDM brands: Tourstage/B'stone, Mizuno . . . etc. They don't market here because they do not have to, their precense oversee's including Europe and Asia more than make up for the lack of sales/competition here.

The biggest complaint I have is I get the whole not wanting to compete against their Cleveland line, but they ALREADY have them. Just rebadge them with Cleveland as a compliment to the 588s and watch them fly off the shelf.

Srixon makes their own irons with their own process.  Bridgestone irons are made by Endo in their Taiwan plant, Endo is one of the top forgers in the world.  Yonex mainly makes forged irons and not much if anything cast.  As a clubfitter and builder I can tell you the Mizuno's are good irons but their quality control is not nearly as good as Srixon's.  The headweight of each Srixon iron is very precise Mizuno is + or - 4 grams.  The hosels on Srixons are all a very tight precise fit, Mizuno's are not as tight.  Not saying I wouldn't hit a mizuno because I have but they need some tip weights and extra TLC to make the set consistent.  The ZTX11 has all the best attributes of the previous Srixon models all wrapped into one great design.
