+1 to Scratch or SCOR

If you want to try SCOR they will send you them free for 30 days. At the end of 30 you can ship back or keep them.

Got to love the opportunity to pitch your product!

I work for a Department of Defense consulting firm...but SCOR still makes great wedges.

Tough question, I really dig Ping wedges, don't like any of their other clubs, just like their wedge. The callaway stuff with the cuts on the heel are really nice too.

What's ignorant about personal preference?  The +1 was for ask 10 WRXers get 10 answers.  Asking what is the best golf equipment are really not good questions. What works the best for ME has nothing to do with what is the best for YOU.  Then call me names and I'm a teenager?

you need to reread the op, he is wanting to know your top 5 wedges, not what you think should be his top 5, just shows the ingnorance in your reply again...

Yet the title says what are the best available. Which implies what should I buy.  Availability = what is available for purchase correct?  Available to purchase = what should I (the op) buy.  See how reasoning circles work?  AND I made a valid and completely sound point without having to use juvenile name calling. :). Also my point had been made in what 13 or so posts that had 13 different lists.

So by judging something  by its title would mean Lord of the Flies is about the king of flies?  He specifically states YOUR top 5.

James Patrick Wedges are the best I've ever had the chance to play. Only problem is they cost a ton of money but if money was no option I would have a set of those in my bag.

My top 5 right now are probably
1) JP Wedges
2) Gauge Designs
3) Miura
4) Mizuno
5) Titliest

The thread was created to be fun. I already have my wedges and their not coming out of my bag anytime soon. I started this to see what everyone liked the most. I just like to see the general consensus.....I know that everyone is bias towards products or what not but I still like to see. With that said...Keep it coming!!

My top 2 are Fourteen and Scratch. Easily the best 2 I've tried. Right now I'm using Adams Pug Black and so far I'm loving them.

I do work for SCOR, because as a short game teaching pro I have found them to be the best all around wedge, plus they understand the importance of fitting for shaft(weight, loft, length, and flex), feel, and the dynamics of bounce and variable course conditions and shot presentations. So, obviously, I put them as #1...

SCOR
Callaway
Miura
Vokey
Scratch

Shockingly, there is no sport for Vega wedges.  They have loads of different grinds, lovely head shapes and their forging is second to none.  However, JPs are superior, because JP's are basically forged by Vega but then reground and the sweetspot is centered.

No offense to the OP, but what a stupid question.  Ask 10 people on WRX, get 10 answers.

I think he expected that, which means he isn't stupid, right?

Anyway, my favorite wedge is always the "next" wedge.

I just ordered a pair of Yururi Gekku Raws with "Tiger-stepped" x100's from FairwayGolfUSA. Came out cheaper than buying an off the rack PING, Titleist, Mizzy, etc.

That said, my favorite wedge of all time to date was the Callaway X-Forged Vintage.
Nice pickup Mad. :-)

There seems to be more dicknoses on this site than there used to be.  There are always smartazzed comments etc. vs guys that seriously love golf and talking clubs etc.  On another thread I posted a comment about a few drives I hit with the new 913 D3 because I am excited about the club and guys that are maybe on the fence trying to decide if they want to spend the money on a driver may be interested in my results.

I have posted many threads on this site with information on shafts etc since I used to have a Launch Monitor in my basement and have quite a few PMs from members that appreciate info.  That is what this site is all about.  I have a feeling that these smartazzes still can't get a job and are getting frustrated that the seven years they spent getting the bachelors degree isn't paying off and they are still stuck in moms basement.

To the OP, I like the thread....................................

I am going to say Scratch is my favorite and I am getting ready to order a couple new 1018s tomorrow.

I like the thread, too, and I'm seeing very expensive names on this board! I started with Vokeys and have always played them, not to say that others are better it's just what I'm used to. I've always liked Mizuno wedges but never have been a fan of TM or Cleveland wedges. Heard nothing but the best about Vega, Fourteen, Scratch and Miura, just never had the cash.

Some people read the title and not the full content of the thread before posting.
