Heard he will have his own collection with Oakley, and logo.
Will they be pink with little green jackets all over them?

Oakley does need a new big star after losing Rory to Nike.

This is interesting news... this raises another big question to me (and fans of TM)... who will be the new golf ambassador for Travis Mathew then?

That's a good move for Oakley. He's a very visible guy. He's a little odd, but I think that's one of the unique things that make him in marketable.

Double D gave Oakley sunglasses the "cool factor" back in the day for sure!

Duval being my favorite player of all time (with exception to maybe Hogan although I've never watched Hogan), his glasses were the only thing about him I didn't like, hahaha. :)

You have to admit that he put Oakley golf sunglasses on the map though.

I always thought he was ready to shag fly balls or something with those things.

I will give you that, in the golf world :)  See I didn't start golfing until 1999 (I was 19), before that, I had grown up skateboarding/snowboarding/surfing so Oakleys had been around forever for me.  I will admit though, when I started watching golf, he definitely stood out with those glasses and I'm sure (like you said) put them on the map!

DD was the man though.  I still have hopes he wins another tournament!

So who's going to be the next Travis Mathew golf ambassador if Bubba is out?

Yes, I have heard this from a couple people who work for Oakley. Not saying that I am 100% a believer, but they are higher up people than retail store employees or local reps.

Rory to Nike. Bubba to Oakley. Who goes to Travis Mathews?

This line up rotation is shaken, not stirred. I like it.

Callin' it guys. The new face of TM will be Luke List. He's HUGE off the tee, which attracts a huge gallery and will result in a lot of buzz about him. With him wearing TM, the brand will get around.

I can confirm you will see Bubba in Oakley next year.  It's hard to compete with the big boys but Bubba did great things for Travis Mathew on a lot of levels.

I'm kind of shocked by this news. Thought bubba was loyal. Travis Matthew did a lot for him. Seemed like it was a great relationship.

List is for sure not going to be with TM next year. He is already on board with someone else.

Good luck with the Sunglasses thing.  95% of all glasses are made at Clarke Airbase in the Philippines, but shipped where ever to be assembled in the US and other places.

Too bad, I think he fits the TM brand perfectly.

Really? I always thought of Bubba as a southern frat boy from UGA not a too cool for school surfer dude from LA. To me Bubba is the anti-travis. I always thought it was an awkward sponsorship.

Agree.  He is a traditional golfer to the extent of what is out there today.  I like Bubba in what he wears now.  He would look goofy in sunglasses and those horrendous shoes that Oakley sells.

I agree that Oakley's shoes are horrendous, but didn't Rory continue to wear FJ after signing with Oakley?
