Use these wedding trips to play new courses, time permitting of course. I have done that in the past. My wife was well pissed one time when i was on the course longer then was expected, almost missed start of ceremony.

It may sound rude but with me trying to be something in the golf world and if practicing and playing is my main goal. I sure wouldbe skipping some of them weddings unless it was family or my best friend! You come first in life so then you can provide for others that are close around you if your indeed saying this is a career thing you are making a go out of it! Good luck and maybe make the circle of friends smaller! Unless you have a fiance or wife...etc that is forcing you to go. I live in Pa and my fiance wants me to drag myself and pay a lot of money to go to Colorado Springs for a wedding....ya know what I said. Why arent they paying??? I meant it too...if I invited people to my wedding from that far away I am covering all the costs especially seeing my fiance is a Bridesmaid! May sound rude but I speak my truth!
