Just got a dog-bone 9' Tour Links indoor putting green. Not sure where it will wind up, but Keifer will have a quality putting green to practice on during the winter.

Rolled a few already and I am impressed with the sturdiness of the solid plastic base and the material for the green. Rolls around 9 or 10 on the stimp , I believe. The 3 or 4 foot putts are in the narrowest part and it is tight, but the 9 footers have plenty of room and it is very comfortable taking your stance. The cups will hold 4 or 5 balls easily, something I was really looking for.

Might be the best hundo I spent all year!

how can you stand level with the ball on that design?  Isn't the ball always a few inches higher than your feet ?

Check my second paragraph. I am building a stance platform for the short putts to allow for a comfortable stance. I don't get 9' putts , they are actually 7'3" putts. With the platform the length available will be around 8'6". The higher contour behind each hole keeps you from making longer putts by interfering with your back-swing.

Where did you get that? As a north east man myself, I don't get much golf weather Nov - Feb.

I snapped it up off of Craigslist, it is a Tour Links "dog-bone" style that retails for around $325. They are available on ebay and directly from the manufacturer.

Looks good. I've been thinking of something similar for the basement for a while now. I currently have one of the ones you roll out and putt up a ramp to the hole, but this looks like a much better option. Looks like you got yourself a really good deal.

The two really substantial plastic pieces interlock and make a sturdy platform strong enough to support a big o boy like me without any movement. The putting surface is a perfect fit and rolls true. For the days when me and my son can't work outside it is perfect.

I've sold a number of their 9-13' training aids to use with SAM PuttLab.  One university team ordered theirs with two stance platforms so they could go both ways. The secret to TourLinks is the base material.  They make a bigger interlocking panel for outdoor use and have done complete athletic fields with them.

I have not done anything to mine. May build a standing platform though. Let me know how yours comes out!

BUILT A 2'  X 1' 6" PLATFORM FOR THE GREEN. WORKS PERFECT AND DID IT FOR LESS THAN $15!

Can someone educate me on how the surface and the base are attached?  Does the surface just sit on top?  Anything that holds it down?

I have a chance to scoop one of these up for $25!   But the edges seem to curl up on the sides just where it tapers nears the hole.  I think it's because of the way it was stores.   Easy fix?  Anyone know?

The putting surface lays on top, unattached. The secret is to let it sit in the sun, the heat exposure will lay it down and draw up to fit, that is what it says in the instruction book. Mine laid flat from the get-go, once it flattens out you will love it. For $25 you can't go wrong. And you can also order replacement greens from Tour Links.
