Srixon Z Star - barcode FOR JAPAN only?

Not sure if this has been discussed before but the Z Stars I bought from Dick's last years on clearance have a "For Japan" only barcode.  This is the previous version ('08?).  Is it a JDM ball or what?

OP i have no idea about the label on the Z's but i had to comment on your avatar. That is freaking hilarious. He looks like a mad scientist/genius with those glasses on. I just expect him to speak like an adult. "hello how are you, i am working on string theory what are you doing?"

Barcode for Japan is common several golf balls have this I have had to cover them up when checking prices in Academy.

Have you guys used some barcode scanner app in your Iphone phone?I want to collect some information for my next project, so thank you for any feedback.

That's strange. I got mine from Amazon and they say made in Indonesia, no Japan reference whatsoever.
