I havent shopped these dates for golf clubs before, so just wondering where the best options have been or estimated to be this year.

Will be in the market for new set of forged cb or mb irons.

Store or online? I have a golfmsith and pga superstore within an hour from me.

I was out fighting the crowds last year bright and EARLY during Black Friday. Took a little diversion to a golfsmith and was very disappointed. I didn't see any earth shattering deals to speak of.

Now the GPP online sale last year was AWESOME! If I recall correctly it started at 12:01 Friday morning, but the website was very sluggish and not very intuitive. Still, the deals they had were well worth the website glitches.

I bought two ping sweatshirts, and a pair of ping rain pants for 30 dollars and they threw in a groove brush it was an insane deal and I hope they will do it again this year!!

I second GPP. They had GREAT deals. I got 3 pairs of shoes, a whole bunch of balls, and the apparel deals were insane!

I REALLY hope they do that again!

i missed out on the gpp sale from last year, really hope they do it again this year, if they do, i will def be spending some serious $$ there

ive looked at some of the bf ads from places that sell golf gear, so far theyve all been pretty underwhelming /:

Golfsmith, I know there was some bad experiences, but there footwear deals atleast were untouchable.

Being bought out by Golftown, not sure how that might change things.

I picked up some balls, grips, PING outerwear, and some other items that I can't recall off hand. I believe it came out to roughly 50% off retail...more I think on the outerwear. Pretty sure they had smoking deals on bags too.

I wasn't in the market for clubs so I can't speak to their discounts on those items.

im pulling the trigger on a 913 driver on black friday regardless of the fact there is not one bit of a price drop. even if i got a deal on the taxes or something i would be happy. ( taxes here are 15%, and the driver is $449.99). it just sucks that the whole store will be on sale, except from the one company i want to buy from

So I received GPPgolf's Black Friday ad and it tells me that there Black Friday is all there current promotions. 15% off bags, buy one get one free Callaway crap everyone else is running, and all the other promitions they've been running recently? Is this a joke?

Back 9 is selling all their head covers and headwear for 9 bucks now through cyber Monday. I just picked up a couple of hats and head covers... that was easy, my dads and brothers Christmas presents are now bought! http://www.back9usa.com
