Trust me I've been wondering if this and all the similar products like this are the real deal. I posted a thread a while back saying we need to get all them together ( swing byte, golf sense, swing smart, pocket pro) and do side by side comparison to see which one performs best overall.

I have seen the golf sense product in use and it is fantastic. Some really good and useful data. Those that are working on swing plane will really appreciate this tool.

Interested to know why you dont like Swingbyte?

Could golfsense be used to review other areas of the body mechanics? i.e. hip motion

I just recently got golfsense and Im impressed by the data and information that it provides.  The only issue is that I have trouble keeping it connected via bluetooth on my iphone.  it could just be the phone as it has been messed up since the last OS update...

I have the Swingbyte.  I mainly use it to check my swing plane, which it works very well for that part.  Another website that is similar to this has a review on it.  PM me if you're not sure which one it is.  It gave it a grade of B-.  I copied and pasted the review here originally, but out of respect for golfwrx, and not wanting to cause any problems, I deleted it.

In regards to hip turn, there is a new app coming out the first of December that measures the hips rotation called GolfMtrx.  I was lucky enough to be one of the beta testers.  While its no K-vest, it is not too bad.  I don't know the price yet, but I'm quite sure it will be far cheaper than the k-vest.

With all shootouts and comparisons and the "that vs. this"
That happens on this site, it's astonishing to me that there's no solid info on here for these products.
I was interested in the golfsense, but waited for the swingbyte to come out because it was supposedly a better app.
Now I've been waiting on V2 of the swingbyte mount and some feedback if it was an improvement and rel comparisons between the different apps., and there's really nothing.
In really surprised that more people haven't jumped on them.

GolfSense measures hip rotation and lateral motion with iPhone in your pocket.

That's the website I was talking about.  It does have a really good review of golfsense, swingsmart, and Swingbyte!
