Yeah, I'm gonna need one of these.  If it performs better than my Razr Fit, I'm all in.

Yes you do and it will!!!
At least my Attas 3 shaft and adapter will work!

Can't wait to battle out the 8.5 extreme against my ft tour and fit.
Good chance the bag will have:
2 & 3 proto hybribs
4 through 7 new x-forged irons
8-pw proto mb's
52* & 58* x-forged c-grind md grooves :)

Looks really good! probably the only driver thats got my attention for next year. If callaway havent modified the 7M3 then matrix has because the original doesnt have 4+ degrees of torque.

1 + 1.5 = 2.5 or is my math wrong?

Didn’t mean to call you out

No worries. What do you think of the driver?

Looks like you're right!  Here are the specs from the Matrixshafts.com website.

Sorry if they copied and pasted all screwy, but the torque on most flexes is 3.8.

Question for those who have more knowledge on shafts than I do.....what is the difference you would expect  to see between the two shafts?  Would it be more of a feel things?

Callaway has a good lineup for 2013. They need to release pics of the new fairways! If that looks good I will buy it, the driver and irons look great but I am happy with mine.

What a nice looking head!  This year has some really cool drivers coming out!  I haven't used a Callaway club for a while, but this one definitely looks interesting.

:idhitit:

Thinking the same thing...might have to game this one in '13

Just put out the official RAZR FIT Xtreme coin jar on the kitchen table.

But I'm curious. With my current 9.5 FIT I have 2600-2900 backspin with the stock RIP'd S 60.

With the new Xtreme am I even capable of dropping backspin further?

that’s the rumor… I wish I had that kind of back spin.  I can hit the Razr Fit a ton but it does spin WAAAAYYY too much for me.

Damn. I REALLY was not planning on doing anything new with a driver but between this and the new x forged, I'm gonna come damned close to an all Callaway bag next year.
Especially if they deliver on a high COR 3 wood.
If they offer a few lower bounces on the wedges... Looks like the Cally Way on Pay Day.

Wow, I really like the profile of this club.  Like they said, very FT Tour like (my favorite driver btw).  I was so content on my Razr Fit TA, I promised myself I would not get tempted by anything.  Well, if this thing sits that much smaller than the Fit, I think I am going to have to pick this up.  Plus it looks similar enough to my current driver, my wife may not even notice :)

My issue is this.  How much of a difference will this be from the original Fit?  If anything, I might just want to try one of the new shaft offerings to see if I get more distance or control.  And what is the deal with standard shaft tip?  The TA tip was too expensive to put on every driver?  I think that is just a disappointment. Don't get me wrong, I am curious to hit one of these, but I don't like the idea of the head being lighter (sorry high cappers) and at address, that driver looks identical to my TA.

I'm around a 6 hcp. I've never been fitted and always played stock shafts. Not a noob, just never had the scratch. My question is what kind of differences would I notice with one of these shafts? My swing speed with a driver is around 120mph. I currently hit a Big Bertha Steelhead and she hasn't failed me so far. Are the changes in technology so much that I would notice a difference? Any help would be much appreciated. Oh, and the Extreme looks freakin awesome!!!! Thanks.
