Yikes, so if i'm still using my Cleveland FL, which the RBZ is 17yds longer then, and there's a new Callaway that's significantly longer then the RBZ. I'm giving up like 30+ yds of fairway wood distance. Guess i'll just throw all my drivers in the fireplace

Seriously though, i am very interested in seeing the Callaway 2013 line. Something about a company with a distinguished history just being like "OK, the last few years were total crap, we're sorry and you'll like our new stuff" makes me interested. I think it will probably be good

I always liked the glued/non multimetal drivers they made better then the fusion ones. Interested in seeing the Xhot

MtlJeff, your post could have been written by me.

I feel the exact same way.

It's like Cally is saying (in their ODB voice):  "Look, we've slacked in our mack for the past few years.  But now we're packed with the great big Bertha sack."

Callaway's line up for next year is pretty good all round. Only thing I didn't care for were the x hot irons that just looked like a contiuation of the Razr x model. X hot pro f/w looks really nice though, same profile as the Diablo edge tour and nice and compact. Really really nice looking club

I am not exactly sure why Callaway will not release some photos of the new X-Hot series of woods to this site???
After all,   it sounds like a lot of pro-shops have already seen the entire line.  I was in my local golf shop/driving range over the weekend and they told me the rep was in over last week and had the new irons,  RFEx Driver,  X-Hot Pro and regular fairway woods and regular X-Hot driver.   The only thing missing was the Pro model of the X-Hot driver.
They told me the entire line is great!
I think Callaway has done a great job with releasing information to us with photos,  but it would really be nice if they could show the X-Hot stuff!!!!   I hear it is great stuff!
Thanks Callaway!

Should this be interpreted as "don't bother with the RazrFit Xtreme 'cause something better is coming"?

Sounds more like the xhot driver will be the 460 cc more forgiving driver while the extreme is the smaller more workable lower spin option. As for the fairways it sounds like it will be the 3 wood of choice as it will be max COR bomber with a slightly larger profile

Is it a deep face or a shallow face?

A deep face fairway driver perhaps with 13 degree's loft and a 43 inch shaft with a 8M3 matrix shaft?

From what I have heard yes, it is an entirely different line. So I've been told.

Speculation or fact? Seems weird only two guys would have what's supposed to be the "premium" line bag. Does that mean Phil and Ernie have already been fit into (or are playing) the Xtreme driver as well?

I don't post speculation. This is what I was told. And so far, my source has been 100% right.  It may be the "premium" line, but they are going to be spending all their marketing dollar on the XHot line. AND--the white bag is straight FIRE! Just gorgeous.

In all due respect bro, you posted in another thread that the Razr Fit Extreme was only one head size and that the X Hot was two head sizes. The official RFX press release says that the lower lofts will be 440cc and higher lofts are 460cc.

Well, no, "bro",  that's not what I posted. You should read it again. And since I've hit all 4 heads, I don't think I'd make that mistake. Just re-read it, and see what I was saying.  I was commenting on whether the Razr was primarily for the better or horrible player.  I don't need a press release after I've hit them both.

The Razr Fit Xtreme is the “premium” driver or whatever you want to call it, but it won’t necessarily be the most popular.
