So has anyone found anything out about Callaway's fairway wood offerings for 2013? I know that in the thread talking about Phil using the RBZ, Harry said that Callaway has something in the works that will compete, maybe even beat, with the RBZ and other COR maxed fairways.

However, in the pic of the RAZR Extreme driver, you can clearly see the Extreme 3 wood as well.

So is this going to be the new 3 wood to knock out the RBZ or is there something entirely different that Callaway has yet to release that we don't know about.

Between all of these great releases this year the suspense is killing me for this and the new TMAG stuff!!! Gonna be a great year as far as offerings go!

Saw a yardage chart of the new Callaway 3 wood and some guy was pelting them +300 yards with it. Holly smokes.

If it doesn't look like the RBZ how can it be considered a knockoff?

I'm more anxious about the fairway wood offerings than I am the driver.  I'm guessing the info will come after they finish revealing the new driver.

The RBZ killer is a different line, to be announced at a later date.

I've seen and hit the new X Hot pro 3 wood and it is a bomber.  Silver crown.  Sorry can't post pics.

I saw the X Hot Tour and standard version today. Supposedly they are launchers. Hotter than the RBZ. Those two along with the Extreme will be the only fairway woods in the lineup.

Saw it the other day too. Different than razr extreme. Looks like a very solid club. A driver to go with that as well

To gain the extra "hotness", are they giving some of the forgiveness the last few models have had?

I wonder if it will be longer than the RBZ2 that is coming out next year too?  It's suppose to be .830 COR too.  It should be interesting...

That's the word around the rumor mill anyway. There will be the Xtreme line which we already know about, and an X-Hot (assuming that name is right) line which is supposed to directly compete with the RBZs. I think both lines will have drivers and fairway woods from posts I've seen, but I'm not 100% on that.

^^^^^ Correct. Seen them both in person. Moveable is the Xtreme line, X-Hot is fixed. Light long and a bombing machine

There are a lot of colors available, and green right now is not the right one if you don't want that your product will be considered a RBZ ripoff imho

I've Seen the new offerings looks reaLly clean!  It will be a bomber as well.  Again it will have a real deal
Shaft in it no more made for.  Looks like callaway was very serious about the five year war!!!

Is the fairway deep faced? No worries if you can't comment.

Fairway is suppose to be hotter than RBZ but smaller in all dimensions. Many people thought RBZ was too large.

Callaway 2013 3 Wood Offering?

Yes, a black painted RZB.

The name? I heard Frankenwood.

Phil has one in his bag.

Agreed. I'm not a fan of a big headed fairway wood.

I had the SFTP 2.0 3 wood at 155cc before I got the RBZ Standard at 197cc...I had absolutely no issues off the turf with the standard head...LOVE IT off the tee, of course, but don't have any issues off the fairway.  I will occassionally top one or thin one, but I did that with my R9 and SFTP also...so that is me, not the head size.  Most people try to sweep fw's too much instead of a slight descending blow.  That is where the larger heads seem at a disadvantage, sweepers!!

Original X Hot is one of my favorite woods of all time. I had a Tour Issue one that I never should have sold.

For the first time since my FT5-TH and X Hot combo I might have all Callaway woods. Really looking to seeing that else they come out with.

I'm looking forward to the new extreme line up, I already have my shafts with the fit tips installed. Just hoping they come out with a new hybrid line this year wasn't a big fan of the Razr x hybrids at all.
