I know it probably wasn't her choice, but Polo/RL was a much better fit for Morgan Pressel.

It's Florida.  That describes 99.9% of the whole state.

I live in the area and will be heading out there on Sat. One of my friends currently works at the club so hoping for a little more access than the standard ticket. Def interested to see how the event goes this week. Here in town it is simply known as the "other" course at Twin Eagles because nobody cares about it. It was originally done by Gary Player and then was closed because it was never played and the club was avoiding bankruptcy...again. Steve Smyers did the rebuild and its better but nothing close to the original Nicklaus course. Just funny that the club hosts a Champions Tour event and an LPGA event but has to open up for public play to keep its doors open

I worked there when the old course by Gary Player was opened, it was mainly for the staff to play as 99% of the play was on the original and better course, The Talon so If the staff wanted to play golf we could play the Gary Player design any time we wanted.  I actually liked the golf course, but for the average golfer, the member who is a high handicap it was almost impossible to play

a lot of different girls carry the "14" brand of wedge in there bags, even girls with good clubs sponsors whose manufacturers design and sell great wedges,  interesting to me. i would like to get a better look at some of these wedges and maybe catch a review or two.

Great pictures -- the LPGA WITB shots are always interesting, lots of kit you don't see anywhere else with the Asian brands.  Cool.

Big fan of the Land Rover and the Jaguar staff bags.

I'm always interested in the shafts that the ladies play in their irons.  I know, for example, that Catriona Matthew plays Nippon 950GH R flex in her irons, because her husband was nice enough to confirm that.  I know that Suzanne Pettersen plays Modus Pro 3, but I don't know flex.

I'd like to know what Cindy LaCrosse is playing in her AP1's.

She wasn't around much the 1st two days.  There's a few in the Wednesday albums that should be uploaded sometime today.

We are probably both wrong. i bet they took over for the professors and taught the leactures.

But in all seriousness, enough is enough. I hate to draw judgement on a situation I am completely removed from, but something is clearly not working there. I cannot believe that no one has stepped in after all these years and atleast attempted to place a restraint on her parents. I watched some of her round yesterday and I have never seen a professional athelte look so mentally checked out and defeated. And shes only 23!!

Leadbetter was there on Tuesday working with Michelle on the range, with her mom & dad right there also seeming to be instructing her (or at least reminding her of what David said, or what they thought he meant).

During the Wednesday pro-Am, David caught up with Michelle on the 9th tee.  Again he went thru what he wanted her to work on.  After Michelle walked away, David was grilled my her mom & dad about what he was telling her, asking him to show them what position the club should be in, going back & at the top (seemed like wrist position at the top was the main focus).

The photos I took out on the 9th tee of them all together talking & making swing motions are in one of the Wednesday albums.

Holy cow!  Just let that girl go and become her own woman.  It's plain to see she's trying to keep them happy but she's got too many voices in her head to truly play and have fun with it.  We all saw what happened when they backed off during the Solheim a few years back.  She was a machine and dominated.  Very sad.

I always find it interesting how many ladies have bag sponsors that aren't OEM's. I wonder why that is compared to the men. YOu would think that more PGA pro's would have seperate bag deals, as they could probably make more in sponsorship.

LOL something I know all to well.  Have to hit up someplace like Black Diamond to find some contours, and that's only because it's built on a pit or strip mine of whatever.  Ravines used to have some nice elevation changes, but they closed down when the course owner and homeowners got into a spat about building more lots on the course.

Great pics as usual Greg, thanks for coverage of the ladies!
