Why am I a candinate?

I believe I represent the average golfer & wrx'er out there. I've toyed around with equipment and even have been fitted only to be still on the serach for the right fit for my game. My game is above average and I bring my experiences of playing all levels of equipment, conditions and courses. I believe I can convey to the audience the expereince from the point of view of many on this forum as well as to the average customers of Taylormade. I am not a fanboy for anyone and I bring my unbiased opinion good or bad. I feel I would represent the WRX community very well as I have respect for the game and the makers of equipment.

Thanks

First I would like to thank taylormade golf for this giveaway, and next I would like to say it is my son who deserves this, thus if I win it will go to my 14 year old son for an early Christmas gift. My son has been living with tourettes syndrome since he was diagnosed in the second grade. He definitely deserves this more than me and more than most. He is an avid golfer who is OBSESSED with golf and LOVES Taylormade technology and innovation. He is a fairly new golfer but has been playing or practicing everyday for about 5 months and has shown great improvement. He currently has a lot of Taylormade equipmentin his bag and would love more. Me being an ex-PGA member I know how hard the game is and can't imagine how hard it would be to play this game with his syndrome, as he has to concentrate on his game and keeping his tics down as not to distract himself or others. I have total respect for him as he works very hard at this game even with this syndrome. He would one day like to be the first PGA touring proffesional with his syndrome (tourettes) and would like to inspire others with tourettes and other syndromes that they CAN play the worlds hardest game.My son is very outgoing, which is suprising considering his syndrome, so he will be able to spread the word of Taylormade. I know my son is deserving of this and i hope he is able to win though he isn't 18. If he was selected I would of course pay my own way and accompany him, please feel free to message me or email me with questions.

Sincerely,

thebaumer

I'm still playing my original set of EYE2's but after reading the review of the Rocketbladez here, I'm definately a candidate for a change - especially if I can be professionally fitted.  Count me "IN".

I would like to be a candidate because my irons are almost 9 years old, and I feel that new technology would shaves strokes off of my score.  Thanks for the opportunity.

I feel I would be an excellent candidate for a few reasons. First a full and comprehensive review with photos and video of my experience to share with fellow wxr's. Second I was just fitted recently by a first rate club fitter in the Chicago area so can compare the experience. Third I am currently unemployed and can make the trip. In fact I will already be down there golfing December 1-4 and can adjust my schedule to stay and fit in this once in a lifetime experience.

Thanks
Tim

I feel I'd be a great candidate because I am a true amateur golfer, doing what I can with the time I have available to golf (4 kids under 7 at home), improve and trying to reach my modest goals. Taylormade experiences, from what I have gotten to read on this website, are life changing. Hope I'm the lucky one! Thanks TM

As an avid golfer, golf equipment tinker, and sports medicine scientist, I would be fascinated to have a formal fitting.  A fitting would combine all these interests in learning more about clubs, club fitting and how the mechanics of the swing affect these variables.  As you can see in the attached picture, I've tried and experimented with many different clubs over the years with various degrees of success and a proper fitting would combine all of these interests.  Thanks for the promotion.

Well I am rather late to the party... Working in grocery retail during the holidays really takes up some time. Looking through these posts I've seen some great stories. I've been playing golf for just over a year and a half now. I am 6'5 and hit stock Taylormade r9's irons and drivers. I am a Junior in college so money is always rather tight. I would love to get properly fit for some clubs, I already love the r9's and my RBz 3w. This is an awesome opportunity to have a once in a life time experience. Good luck to everyone!

I am a candidate because I am someone who currently plays blades and has not been rather fond of TM clubs for a while.  (Haven't liked anything post R9 TP) and am skeptical of the new taylormade products.  It would be really cool to do something like this and it could make me a believer.  I do really want to try the RocketBladez, I just can't afford a new set of irons.  This would be a great way to try them!

I'm a WRXer and a professional Clubfitter ... still an AM, so don't worry selecting me for the Pro/Am :-)

Not only am I interersted in the new Rocketbladez from a technical POV but in getting them fit by another industry professional and getting the experience.

I'm a mid single digit handicapper and have been working in the golf industry for almost 15 years now. If the Rocketbladez is roughly the iron I think it is, then I'll be playing it next year.

Please consider because I need new clubs badly. Those new TM looks sweet and playing in a Pro-Am would be big(maybe embarrasing but a blast anyway). Please consider this unlucky bastxxx!!!!!

Thanks to Taylormade and Golfwrx for a great promotion.

I'd love the oportunity to be custom fit by "The Kingdom"

As an avid golfer for over 40 years, I've operated a retail golf store, worked as a sales rep and tested or played virtually every advance in golf since 1979. I think I could bring a unique perspective to evaluation process.

Thanks
John

I'd love to have a chance to get fitted for a new set of these clubs!  I'm stuck in the snow and wind here out here in Wyoming and could really use a trip to Florida right about now...

I would love to represent Canada in this great giveaway (thanks Tmag and Golfwrx) but, alas, it's yet another contest for U.S. residents only.
Let me say this: if selected I will drive, fly, walk or crawl to the U.S. airport of your choice any time, anywhere. Plus I used to live in Naples so it would be great to catch up with the nice folks down there.
Please please please consider me (and my fellow Canucks) despite the rules. I'm so pumped for the Rocketblades and can't wait to hit them.
Thanks
Canada's #1 Taylormade fan

First, Greg Norman is an idol from childhood and would love to have a chat. Second, I am a 3 handicap playing Titleist Blades/ putter/balls and wedges. I have started losing distance as my swing gradually slows and would love to continue posting even lower scores and winning in Amateur tournaments with the distance assistance. I think Rocket Blade Tour Irons/putter/wedges are exactly what I am looking for to accompany my new R11S and R11 3 metal! Who knows you may even be able to pry that Pro V1X out of my hand!!!!! I'm ready!!!

Well, the contest is nearing an end and this post is for everyone that entered.

In the best Dirty Harry voice I can muster...

I know what you're thinking...did I get here in 5 shots or 6.  Well, with that tree branch to the face in the woods, I kinda lost count myself.  Now you've entered a contest that could get you here in 3 strokes and you think you're gonna win.  But, you just gotta ask yourself one question...do I feel lucky?  Well, do ya...PUNK!

Good luck everyone!
