Posts in FS/WTB and 19th hole count as active posts, but not official posts.  

It's a way to keep the Canadians from taking this site over ( and prevent people from selling stuff without making legitimate contributions to the site)

They're right.  I believe that the hogan forum also doesn't count against your official post count.
