Spend four hours chipping and putting - if I hit a stretch of poor / lifeless form, skipping a normal round for a decent short game session works wonders

I think I spent 3/4 of this year in a slump. Then when I finally would piece together a decent score, it felt like I had to labor through it and rely on something (hot putter, great chipping, miraculous iron saves, etc). It was a frustrating year for this guy...
I attribute it to my increasingly less time to practice.
