Can't top the AP2 IMO. #1 iron on tour for a reason. I have tried everything and nothing tops them. I have finally quit trying. They have it all.

It's certainly a great club if you are thinking about moving to a players iron for the first time. Nce high ball flight and ample forgiveness. Really good durability also.

OK guys Ive been around the block and tried everything.  I've been here for a long time and have tried / bought everything.  The AP2s are the best.  Bar none.

Everyone from pros to high hc can play them.  Other than the total hack they are playable.

They balloon on me.  I have been playing the TM MC irons with C-tapers and can't find anything better.  Great feel, trajectory, and the right amount of forgiveness for me.

My best mate made this exact switch
He reckons its the best choice he's ever made
Always on about how good his new sticks are
Reckons the ball flight control is so much better

I upgraded my ap2's to s3 pro cb's
So we often bicker about who has the superior clubs

You try AP2 with C-Taper?

Still a little too much spin, it gave me a higher trajectory than my heads.  The AP2 were good, just not as good as the MC.  The other major factor was the softer compressed feel I got with my MC heads.

I really wanted to like the AP2 at a recent fit.. I actually think they are great looking irons too!!... But, for me they were balloon machines. I walked away with the mb. Which looks even better. :nyam:
