Just got one of these new for $65 at Golf Town

Swingweight is d5

A little long at 43.5" and the Miyazaki shaft is only 51 grams .. most fwys I play are 75-85g shafts

Has anyone thrown in a 80gram shaft at 42.5" or 42.75" ??

Wondering what swingweight I can expect and if the feel changes dramatically

Love the shape of this head though and want to give it the college try

The head is standard weight so you'll be okay with any shaft really.  Btw these FL heads feel and sound amazing, and the club is long. I bag the *13.  Cannot recommend them enough, even over RBZ and XTD

I have the 13 and am thinking about replacing the c.kua 43 stiff with the same c.kua 59x I have in my driver.  Great size, shape and depth of face for a 3 wood.

I also have the 13* and am thinking of going to a heavier shaft as well. Love the way it looks at address!

I have the c.kua 43 stiff in my 17*, but i cut it down to 42,5 and that made it stiffer but for me also longer AND more consistent. Fantastic club and fantastic shaft. I can really hit it long from tee and from the deck as well. Also very easy to shape the ball with. I compared it to my former 5-wood on trackman and i gained an extra 5 mph in swing speed. Thats a lot. Love the square face angle as well. A fantastic club you can really get for a nice price at the moment. I have tried the RBZ but the feel was so much better in the cleveland, and it was longer for me.

I bought one of these at Golftown the other day as well.  I will likely cut it down an inch or so, but I sort of like the weight of the shaft.  Can't wait to get it out on the course.....in 6 months. :angry2:

Plays well with a heavier shaft in it. Have a 73g Miyazaki blue in mine. Hit it nearly as far as my driver though so I'm getting rid.

I have two 15 degree heads and both have Xcaliber 78's in them. They are great clubs....bought both of mine from GT aswell when they were 95$

they feel fine with the heavier shaft

I just picked up the exact club a couple of weeks ago, but I payed more for it used (granted, it looked new) at Roger Dunn than you did.  Don't care.  It was money well spent.  Love the way it looks, love the way it feels, love the way it sets up.

I don't know if its long or not, but I hit it 5 times during my last round, all off the deck...  I pushed one a little, but the flight was straight, and I skyed one for 150 yards out of thick rough, but the other three were money.  All five balls were off the deck, and I was surprised at how well it hit considering it's a fairly deep face.

I walked away stoked.  First time I've hit a 3 wood well in a few months.

Mine is 43.5 long and I've been thinking of cutting it down myself.  I may take an inch off the top now like you did.
