Does anyone think the the camo cavity back O'Hair has in his irons looks better than the retail version?  I think the camo looks better hands down....

Agree.  The camo version is 100% better.

Are they forged irons?

No...not possible to make the cavity and speed pocket with a forged machine....cast only.

Forging would be to soft to get the same affect from the trampoline affect provided by the slot.....I would assume there will prob be alternate non-retail versions as there hasn't been any mention of anything else on TMAG's player line.... Wondering if mc's will be discontinued as cb and mb were....I do believe that's a great iron and a great option if ur not into the pocket type cavity....

Agree.  The camo version is 100% better.

So buy the irons, glue/tape some white paper into the cavity and scribble on it with a Sharpie.  You'll have the exact same camo as O'Hair.

These heads look a lot more playable than I expected. Can't wait to hit them.

I like the milled faces, offset looks good. Is the slot in the sole open or is there a black plastic piece covering it? I ask because I threw out a comment about the old Cleveland irons that had the "Cleveland" script stamped into the sole and many complained they thought it was grabbing and digger type swingers didn't like them. I wondered if these grooves wouldn't also grab for diggers? Perhaps it is rounded off enough it won't dig? Will it fill with mud and make it feel different? Lower COG?

The slots are filled with a special polyurethane.
