Just received an email from GG announcing a pre-black Friday special.  They look like the real deal (not the WalMart 3 piece balls).  $19.99/doz

Anybody know anything regarding these?

if you try to add the balls to your shopping cart, it won't allow it...my guess is it's a very old link to stock they no longer have...

EDIT: i stand corrected; i just retried the link and it was now working...3 dozen on the way! thanks for the headsup !

Do a search within their site on tp red ldp - two product IDs come up (both read & look identical to me).  The right hand one let me place an order.  We'll have to see what I receive?

the ad for the link clearly show the 4-piece ball, if they ship me something else, then they will have to give me a refund

• I saw this as well ... and called GG customer service immediately.  According to the 'expert' there ... this ball is in fact the vaunted TP Red LDP 4 piece legendary ball.
  
• I ordered 2 dozen myself ... but will remain skeptical until they arrive.

I may swing by my local GG and see if they have them in store. Luckily it's on the way home so I'm praying they do. I've got 2dz at home and have feared playing them because I could never replace them.

I called my local GG and they said they didn't have any and didn't expect to get any.

Might try calling back but the person I spoke with said they have 3 different sku's and they all showed 0 availavle. Also tried online again and I can add to my cart but also shows 0.

Just got my shipping notice from GG on this order ... 2 doz TP Red LDP 4 pc on the way.

You know, the ordering was a bit strange. First attempt brought up TP Red for 24.95 with 0 available, but I kept clicking and checking my cart, and finally got the 19.99 doz TP Red LDP offer to process ... so I got 2 doz. I then called GG customer service 800 number to confirm order and to confirm this was the legendary 4 pc TP Red LDP .. which the kind customer service rep insisted that they were.  I can only assume they (GG) found a few dozen in their warehouse ... or ... a TM rep brought a few dozen over for them. It's worth noting that this past summer, the local TM rep showed up at Wilmington Country Club with a few cases of this ball (yes, the 4 pc TP Red LDP). This shop sold out (about 24 doz) in a few weeks at 30.00 per doz.  So moral of the story is ... they're out there ... Let's just hope that GG got their hands on the real deal.  Tracking num on the shipment notice indicates delivery tomorrow (Fri) so I will followup this post with whether they are the real dealio or the bogus 3pc ...

Just received my shipment today.  Bad news, box says "tour proven" which is telltale sign that it's the 3 piece.

guess I will be going to GG for refund.  Thx to the OP for the heads up regardless.  

Wish I may, but the chances of the Red LDPs being in stock anywhere is slim to none, and Slim just left the building.

Yep ... recieved mine as well ... and sadly .. but not totally unexpectadly ... it's the bogus 3 pc Tour Proven  ... not the legendary Tour Preferred true TP Red LDP 4 pc ... 2 doz on their way back to GG for  refund ...
shoulda known better ...
