Getting better, but still not quite in my taste range.  Glad to see the "look" is evolving.

Definitely prefer current Lunars. Sole/base/heel looks a bit too weird/funky for me.

The Lunar Control's are one of the most comfortable shoes out there. Looking forward to seeing the latest version.

These are WACK. They lost that blend of athletic and classic that made the first two iterations the best golf shoe I've ever worn. These are trying way to hard in that Adidas Golf type of way-- it shows especially on the outer sole. I'll be stocking up on 2011 model.

This was honestly my favorite pair of shoes in the Nike line when the rep showed us. I was in the same boat as some with the looks...a little out there for me at first. I have two colors in the current LC and freaking love them. I can tell you without any doubt that this next one is better. Even softer leather, lighter, and front of the shoe bends almost as much as the TW. His samples were a size 10 and I wear a 10.5 and they were comfortable as hell. Not a fan AT ALL of the red or blue, but the plain black and plain white are very nice in person. The yellow...is a bit out there, but they will definitely get noticed on tour if they are worn. Unless Nike has a Rory shoe that they surprise us with, I would bank on him wearing these...I've heard the tour players love them.

They had to come out  with a similar profile shoe to the FJ Sport for Rory.

man, I don't know...they look like straight running shoes. There's nothing "golfie" about them. I'm such a shoe whore that I'm sure I'll own them anyways:)

That's a nice mix of "sport" and golf.  I like em.

Compared to last year's models, these look like someone at Nike decreed that they will have something to compare to the FJ sport/Tour 360.  The colors and especially sole design seem to mimic those, especially compared to this years models.

That said, I think they did a good job with them.

I really like the white and black pair but probably wouldn't wear any of the others. Look pretty comfortable as well.

I'm just happy to see Nike making some of the higher end golf shoes in a size 15.  This has been a long time coming!!

They do LOOK better on foot, than a photo.

Especially the black/white photo. Love the other color combos as well.

To the Rory speculation: I believe he still uses metal spikes. Can the LC be modified to accommodate? (I would guess yes).

The TW13's are a different type of technology (lower to ground, way the foot moves etc). If you like and use the free running shoes, then you'll love especially them. But they are great if you just want the lightest, lowest profile thing out there - but less support.

Hard to tell from the photos, do they not have that long toe look to them? As one with a wide forefoot, some of the Nike product has just been too narrow in the toe, even in a wide.

Black and white for me. That's as long as they don't have that cheap feel like the tw13s did for me. Didn't want to try them on after grabbing one at the store.

I like the red/white and black/white colorways quite a bit.  And I don't mind the lime/white and lime/black either.  Punt on the Duke blue colorway, though - yuck.

Yeah, I also felt the TW's looked and felt pretty strange in person. Don't doubt they would've been comfortable but not for me.

I think they look better in the real life shots then they do in the stylized nike ad photos. I don't like the look as much as the current lunar control though.

I agree, I like the first from a looks perspective much better. I have no idea why I never bought a pair, they were sooooo comfortable.
