samsung is great, i had a 22" widescreen pc monitor for 6 years and color never degraded, my parents have been using it for for 1.5 years now and its still bright as it was on day 1.

is this for tv or computer use?  if for computer use and you plan on using windows 8 you should look into getting a touch screen monitor, windows 8 gets a little crippled without having a touch feature monitor
